Raptors are in win now mode and are prioritizing quality over quantity. I doubt they trade the 9th pick for multiple 1st rounder imo.

If this were last year, I'd agree but luckily Masai hit on so many prospects to fill out our bench already.

Minimum deal

with no picks is really not that bad of a deal other than we go from having to many SGs to having 1.

Doesnt matter tho - it doesn't work financially.

Claxton has negative value. He put up a 57 TS% season last year, had absolutely horrible metrics and has 3 years left at 23m AAV, only positive is it is descending.

Even if you really don't like Ochai and Gradey as prospects, they're still really cheap contracts and at least have positive value.

But yes, it doesn't work anyways.

Brooklyn can add picks to balance the value if necessary.

Oh and it works.

It works very well if the goal is to end up with a worse and more expensive roster

Please don’t trade for Claxton at any cost.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Honestly whose left? Giannis is not coming to Toronto. Cam Johnson is good but dropping that far is too risky especially now you made Brooklyn have two top 10 picks. One being Mulach or Fears or Bryant and tyre other as tree BPA who knows maybe they get both Mulach and Bryant or Essangue. No thanks to that.

I really like the idea of Lamelo Ball on this team but does Charlotte want #9 and Quickley plus whatever to make it work?

I also really like Mathurin but I think Indy probably wants to hold onto him.

Only realistic guy is Sabonis the spacing is a bit of a issue.

I don't believe any of the JJJ or Morant to Toronto stuff. Memphis isn't moving then

I can't believe people actually want this to happen. Do they not know how bad he was last year?

What is this fascination with 30 y/o Cam Johnson

Literally a near perfect fit for our team, a bigger, better Gradey who plays decent D!

lol wait so now we are adding Battle into the trade as well?

Also, tacks on 5.4m in salary to push us right up against the 1st Apron while losing a bunch of depth at the wing lol

Yeah I get it you don't like the deal. Just don't say it doesn't work when you have no **** idea what you're talking about.

Battle = min salary. Could be any of them Battle, Castleton, Lawson.

Best move would be to not panic, and rush a trade.

This is still a rebuilding/retooling team.

Get the feeling its a 'Make a Run at the playoffs or you're fired' season for Masai and Bobby.

Man for the 19 I just really hope someone like Sorber drops.

Dropping to 19 seems too far. Beringer might not even be available there. I'd rather trade back with OKC for #15 and a future frp or #24.

To get Johnson without trading the 9th or down. Plus we need a backup 5. He'd be probably the best in the league.
