CMB has cult following for the analytics community that care more about production and BPM vs height, shooting and NBA role.

I’m a CMB fan because he’s a man who doesn’t shirk responsibility on anything and would keep us from getting bullied by strong teams. The BPM stuff is nice but he’s a real controller on both ends, can play elite bully ball, amazing defensive instincts and feel.

We desperately need a guy like that.

Not at 4, but if we did trade down I’d take him over Maluach at 8, straight up.

So you would play CMB at the 4 next to Mark, Moussa and Nurkic? Sounds like a spacing nightmare with 2 non-shooters from outside of 7 feet.

Apparently the Celtics want Jaku. Makes me want him even more.

Nah I think they are done with the big trades. They still need some pieces when Tatum returns the following season.

I think their core will be Tatum/Brown/White moving forward.

Then they have zero shot at the lottery where Jaku is projected. Also weird Brad Stevens is interested in a player linked to the Hornets who have 4 lined up with multiple trade-down scenarios.

No other way to intercept Jaku than to offer Brown or White. And I certainly don't see them moving Brown (let alone White).

Something is peculiar over there.

Payton Pritchard coming off 6th man of the year is the likely guy they use to trade up. Not sure I would trade White for Jaku that would be a massive gamble for them White is a all-star level player.

New owners have saved 180 million bucks with the last two trades and now they’re below the second apron or whatever it’s called. I don’t see them trading White or anyone else so I dunno

I agree, I'm just saying if they were trying to move up Pritchard would be the likely guy they trade.

I think they are set on their core of Tatum/Brown/White. They will retool around them.

Could still just be Tatum/Brown with Jrue & Porzingis already gone, and Horford aged out by the time Tatum returns. And Tatum may never get back to his peak level after rehab, recovery, long layoff etc.

But I'm not moving 4 for White.

8 in a tradeback for White with the Nets there to help Boston dip the tax altogether (after helping them below the 2nd apron)?

Yeah, maybe if I have pick 19 and the Nets absorb our damaged goods Green & Grant on our behalf?

LaMelo Ball
Derek White
Brandon Miller
Miles Bridges
Mark Williams

The Lee connection is there with the Celtics, while Peterson is connected to the 3rd party facilitator.

Those Boston fans will really start to hate the new owners.

Greed usually means you always want more.

How much more would the Celtics save if they shed money owed D. White? And if they could add Jaku to Tatum/Brown?

I cont care i hate shooting bigs. Melo, Miller and Mann can launch and pound the paint like a freaking savage animal like they freaking should.

It did before. Now the game changed and the overall product is worse. To much chucking. 7 footers think they are steph curry. Its gross.

Pritchard is young and super cheap, I think they will keep him, but I get what you're saying
