Unless Cruz was hurt, yikes.
But did anyone ask Murph about Chourio not beating out last night's DP?

Cards lead 8-7 after 7. I feel dirty rooting for them.

Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

1. Novak
2. Dillard

WTF were they thinking adding Dillard last night? Home games are supposed to be Dillard free.

Parking lot is packed, it's nice to have a respite of the heat. Just doing basic beer boiled brats and some sides we picked up at Sendiks this morning.

Re: Brewers/Pirates Series
I sold my tickets, couldn't get around the fact that I'm moving in to a new place on Friday and I need all the spare time I can get, especially when I'm at the mercy of the weather. But I'm gonna "work" this afternoon at home, put the game on, and do what's left of my boxing up. Very much looking forward to it. I hope Miz doesn't short circuit with all the attention it's going to get.

Re: Brewers/Pirates Series
80 pitch limit for Miz. Could only mean four innings. Bit of a downer.
