Dominant season mate, congrats. Two-headed monster and then guys like Coby, JJJ staying healthy and then the Grimesanity run since AS break. Well played.

Think the shift to H2H will help me a lot, trying to balance Giannis' FT% - even with Trae, Harden and Reaves - has been a battle! Finally started gaining some ground late after using my games up, think I've gone from 5th to 2nd in the last month.

Yeah honestly that was one of the main motivators for me to get this thing switched to H2H. I really wanted guys like Giannis and also the bigs with low FT% to be viable players. I think in h2h overall you see more players get burn not just because of streaming (although this is dynasty so streaming will be a little more limited) but one cat wonders can get time to shine as well.

Grimes was amazing. Maybe the best in season pickup I've ever had. I think my roster will probably have some holes next year though a lot of guys trending down/Injury risks (Ingram, Simons, Mark Williams, Suggs) or players on their team will be healthy next year (Bridges, Grimes). It was a dominant year but I was also the healthiest team.

You did a crazy job going from lotto/bottom team to 2nd. I've been watching the Luka Lakers (yeah...call me a traitor  ) and Austin Reaves has been amazing to see turn into a real big time contributor. That was a huge get. You also won the Harden trade with me easily. Buzelis is also a very intriguing guy with a good stat profile who has opportunity in Chicago. I think bw wanted clowney over him in the Joker trade haha.

I think this should be more reflective of how close the teams were in the standings. For example, 5th finished 1 pt behind 6th, and the difference between 5 and 6 is almost as big as the entire range of 6-11.

It feels, based on the standings, 1-5 should be set, and then a six team lottery for 6-11, and then a 5 team lottery for 1-5.

Or if you think potentially dropping from 1 to 5 is too much (in draft order in that 5 team lotto for worst teams), you could do a bigger lottery for the middle, 6-12, and then have the bottom 4 teams do one for the top 4 picks. After all, Terovibe was much more engaged then URAVERAGE and played almost 100 more games.

I will be reviewing the games played/daily lineups to find teams under tanking suspicion and we'll see if there will be anything that activated the anti tanking rule.

This year we can't change the lottery but next year (2026) is already set to be using the NBAs real draft lotto results for our own lotto.

I had a couple of injuries that set my team back. :(
Oh well.

Good team again Sunskerr! And good job Tastic for building a solid team to get to 2nd place with Giannis tanking your FTs.

Embiid played 19 games. Kyrie with 50. Lively with 36. Still managed to only miss 6 games total with my gutted roster.

In fairness to me I acquired the team halfway thru the season. I do acknowledge I missed a few days due to work but injuries and DNP killed me during the rest of the season.

So does this mean that only the bottom 3 teams are in the #1 pick lotto for us?

So just me, Uraverage and dbook.

I will trade one of my older players who is still very productive for a first. i imagine a competitive team going for it all would not get such an impact player with a late pick.

Sorry meant to respond to this earlier but the lotto is going to be what was decided before this season began which is

2025 draft lotto/order
16. 1st place (champion)
15. 2nd place
14. 3rd place
13. 4th place
tier 4.(picks 10-12) 5th 6th 7th
tier 3 (picks 7-9) 8th 9th 10th
tier 2 (picks 4-6) 11th 12th 13th
tier 1 (picks 1-3) 14th 15th 16th

2026 we'll be trying the NBA lotto system.

As for my team, everyone except Shai and Jokic are available. It's early but just seeing what's out there.

Alright so two penalties were given out in accordance to the anti tank policy. Teams that were penalized for significant games missed and resting a significant player(s) were moved down one tier, and the next worst team was moved up a tier if the two teams were reasonably close in the standings and the games difference was determined to have likely made a difference in the lottery tiers.

dbook in ur mouth moved down to tier 2 and magic 8 ball to tier 3. got a bealin' moved up to tier 2 and terovibe moved up to tier 1.

The final lotto tiers are

tier 4 wordsenuff, ky reid em book, j-dub's sengoon squad
tier 3 magic 8 ball, chetcade, durden tyler
tier 2 dbook, waxed on, got a bealin'
tier 1 URAVERAGE, Van buren boys, terovibe

lottery results
13-16th picks are static
12. j-dubs sengun squad
11. wordsenuff
10. Kyried em book
9. chetcade
8. durden_tyler
7. magic 8 ball
6. got a bealin'
5. waxedon
4. dbookinurmouth
3. Van Buren Boys
2. Terovibe
1. URAVERAGE

Congratulations to URAVERAGE for getting the #1 pick.

Will listen to offers for everyone not named Shai and Jokic.

So that includes

Suggs/White/Simons
Ingram/Grimes
JJJ/Miles Bridges
Mark Williams

No real positional preferences at this point.

Looking to combine some solid players for 1-2 win now options. My 2nd rounder/future picks available too for the right player.

McCain could be a great get for a rebuilding team wanting to stash him.

McCollum
Vassell
McCain
Portis

All available, no real stats or positions specific

Nikola Vucevic and Brook Lopez are available for a first round pick (this year). I understand it doesn't make sense for a rebuilding team, but for one competing for a championship, both are valuable in somewhat different ways. They were both top 30 players last season.

Lopez gives you a lot of 3s and blocks, and was an 82.6% FT shooter, which is rare for a center.

Vucevic gives you a lot of rebounds, always among the leaders, a lot of 3s, 3.5 apg, 18.5 ppg and is also an 80.5% FT shooter.

They are obviously more valuable than any vet you will be able to get, and obviously a rookie isn't going to help championship aspirations.
