Spurs will say no.

#2, #14, Keldon, and Vassell will be enough.

Castle will be the deal breaker.

Miami hates the Celtics that’s true. But I’d call them to see if they’d do multiple firsts Simons and Hauser for Bam. Get Bam in here and you’re right back at the top of the conference. Not sure there’s a price Miami is would accept from Boston though since Riley hates the franchise.

The only JB type deal I see that makes sense all around is JB and White to Spurs for a return beginning with #2, #14, Castle. More would have to be included like Vassell, Barnes, Sochan is in play. Etc etc. just worth noting that it can now be done.

That would be the smart thing to do, doubt the Spurs would entretain it tho.

Riley would hang up the phone.

You guys say Simons is bad and you're expecting a guy like Pat Riley to bite?

Mannix says Sam has a robust trade market.

With Niang and Baylor on board, it's time to capitalize on Sam Hauser's value.

It’s like we all forgot we are stealing back Cooper Flagg in seven years.

Lol at Dallas paying Kyrie when he’s 36

PP and Hauser are on good deals. I would keep them.

Simons on the other hand I would try to reroute if it gets me a starting big.

Jaylen for Bam but Miami would have to through in assets. Not sure Celtics or Miami would do this though.

That's favoring the Celtics.

A number of Celtic fans keep saying Simons is bad.

So why would any team give up a starting big for an alleged bad player?

Never said he’s necessarily bad. He just doesn’t fit what they should be doing here. Even as a huge Simons fan you have to admit his defense is awful. He’s an expiring, so it allows Miami to move on from money so they can do what they do best, chase and sign free agents.

You already forget about the reports saying KP was garnering interest around the league hours before he was traded for a bag of ****?

Well if you make this deal you then need to plan to find a new home for Tatum. That’s the thing people are missing. If you deal White and Brown for picks and prospects you’re essentially also committing to deal Tatum to a winning situation when he returns.

Theoretically: If the Spurs don’t think Castle/Harper will be good enough to contend with Wemby within 2 years, I’m not sure how adding them to an older Tatum coming off an Achilles injury is any better. I get that the Spurs may want to ‘win now’, but Wemby is 21, lol. We also want to ‘win now’ just delayed by a year AND our window is much shorter when Tatum comes back anyway. Doesn’t make sense unless, ok, we get Castle and Harper, tank this year and get the Boston kid. Then flip the young stars for someone better than Brown in 2026. That’s a lot of work when we can probably get someone between than Brown just by trading him and some picks. I dunno.

And lets be real, Porzingis was a no factor in 2024 championship, Jru was hugely important but it is on a big decline.

Prichard
White
Brown
Tatum

Are the only keepers and Im sure with other assets Brad will get a great starting C, if nit for 25/26 than for 26/27.

Porzingis was a big factor in winning a heap of regular season games and keeping Al fresh for the playoffs.

Going forward expecting a very old Horford to continually carry the front court is comical.

The Celtics probably lose game 1 of the finals if not for KP. He turned the tide in that game.

It's so easy to look back now and say they walked away with that finals but everything changes if they don't win game 1.

To dismiss KP contributions is ignorant and I don't know why these people keep doing it.

Yeah I loved the guy.

Just hate that he is so injury riddled.

I guess that’s why we got him cheap in the first place.

But he had a huge impact and definitely gave Horford some extra life

There are no star players available in FA in 2026.

Simons doesn't fit Boston?

He averaged 9 3pt attempts per game the last 2 seasons.

Ain't that what Joe loves?

And he's just 26 years old.

Like I said, Riley would say some magic words to whoever is calling from the Cs then hang up the phone.

We’re giving OKC a preview of pain.

Just look at their main 3 guys this coming year SGA (35m), Chet (13m, Jdub (6.5m). Then all the FRP’s which have guaranteed salary. Every player on their roster right now is a value player, now with a ring. They will want and deserve more.

The players association needs to go back to the table and reassess if this new CBA is aligned with their objectives.
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
There is no way the Spurs take JB and let us take Giannis unless they are also getting White or 4-5 first round picks. Just zero chance.
