The Oklahoma City Thunder were making calls on Tuesday trying to move up as they currently own the No. 15 and No. 24 selections in Wednesday's draft. The Thunder have a surplus of future picks and have traded up in the past to target specific players.
"Do you know that yesterday the Thunder were making calls to move up in the draft? " said Brian Windhorst on First Take. "On the parade day. They have two [first round] picks. Because they know someday in the foreseeable future they're going to have a top-heavy team."
Last year, the Thunder drafted Nikola Topic who had recently torn his ACL. Topic was the 12th overall pick and was expected to go higher before his injury.
