Trading Barrett for Cam Johnson alone is a bad trade... To trade top 9 in a good draft + RJ for an older role player makes absolutely 0 sense and is a fireable offense.

Fits the combo of moving him with Sengun for Giannis, although more likely they lose other youth contracts instead to bridge the asset gap, or as the salary ballast in the Amen scenario without giving up too much more youth in that better package.

I don't think they are in the convo for him without Amen anyway, so it'll be interesting to see when this ramps up this season.

They're signed for the exact same amount of years. Unless you think we'll re-sign RJ in two years (or extend him), then the age difference is irrelevant.
