I will be dissapointed with KJ, Demin OR Queen, Newell picks.. last thing we need is more guards and poor defenders at C spot.

7. Pelicans - Queen
8. Brooklyn - Tre Johnson/whoever the Nets apparently know will be there at 8 (they also have Claxton, Sharpe, and Clowney on the roster already, although none of them should preclude the Nets from drafting a center i know)
9. Raptors - Essengue
10. Suns - Bryant/CMB, can also resign Nick Richards
11. Blazers - Drafted Clingan last year

12. Bulls - Maluach!

I'm not the biggest Maluach fan given how extremely raw and reliant on lobs he is, but I understand swinging for the fences. He showed some range during the Olympics so the jumpshot potential is there at least. Hard to get your hopes up I know, but if Maluach "slides" like Matas did then a Giddey, Coby, Matas, and Maluach core is probably as good as one could've asked for with the 11th and 12th picks the past two drafts.

LOL I love your post, brother, but why would Coby be part of the core somehow? I like Coby but he's not really a core type player. If he signs a cheap contract we could consider him as that, but that hasn't happened yet. How much do you want us to be able to pay the kid for his good if somewhat streaky offense and mid to bad defense?

God I hope so. KJ + Beringer would be a Dream Draft to me.

I'm not looking for miracles from AK, but if somehow he:

1) Rids us of Vuc
2) Trades to get us a 2nd 1st round pick without giving up the POR 1st
3) Retains Jones if he trades Ball
4) Doesn't draft Demin or Queen

I'd give him an A+.

Me too but I don’t think Beringer would be around. I think he goes top 16.

I do wonder what a Zo POR pick combo could get us

That would be a really strong offseason

I still don’t see KJ falling to 12. But if what you guessed happens it would be the absolute ideal draft day.

The Bulls are in no position to let go of a 45-37-90 20ppg player. $30m/yr is like 15% of the cap. Why can't he be Jamal Murray for the Bulls? (we have no jokic I know)

Not really, he’s talked more about CMB and Essengue. He did talk about KJ now that there’s some mocks/rumors getting drafted by bulls but he also said he thinks he’s another Giddey.

KC is just speculating though he usually has no idea who the Bulls draft or trade.

that's not usually what happens when KC talks a ton about a guy. What happens is we take him, we're not clever enough for smokescreens lets be real. Back to back Lithuanians lol. Loved Matas, hope we get lucky twice.

Sadly that's true :nonono:

Either do I. Someone will trade up for him…

Hope it’s us.

KC is really talking up Beringer heading into tonight. In this clip hes saying we may need to trade up for him! It sounds like the interest is real.

Not an expert on Beringer but at 12, F it, hes one of the highest upside prospects in the draft class and we should be all about high risk high reward moves right now imo

OMG I gotta co-sign that! Retaining Jones for those crucial push minutes when Giddey is off the floor would help a TON. Two first round picks in this deep draft would be a lot to be pumped about. I'm not ask skeptical about Demin as I am about Queen, but I agree that both those dudes are not a good fit for what we're trying to accomplish.

Question. If KJ is the guy and Blazers pick him, would you trade 12 and the Blazers pick for him?

I'm a KJ fan and think he will do well at next level. However, no in that regard to move up 1 pick if CMB is available or someone slides.

Why on earth do they spread this out over 2 days? It's only a 2 round draft for Pete's sake.

I don't know who we'll pick, but I like the almost all the options. There are some decent center prospects and a few wings and a few pf's- all positions we need. Hoping we'll get a strong player tonight.
