I just read a report that his agent is telling Utah and Charlotte NOT to draft him

Would be hard for LAL to swallow using assets there. Ball is nice, but hes damaged goods and likely gonna miss 40 games a year. Patrick Williams is unplayable on a bloated deal.

It's looking like the Rockets will waive Jock Landale to make more room. We kinda need a replacement for him for when Adams needs to rest.

I think Jeff probably comes back and between him and Jabari as small ball options and Dante on a two way as an emergency large person they'll be ok

Another -1 for me before it’s too late?

PJ and Gafford to SAS
Barnes, 14, 2029 LAL first to Boston
Derrick White to Dallas

Delayed for 14 to count as matching?

SAS creates a really good three big lineup.

Boston gets into the lottery and clears 7-8 mil in salary.

Dallas brings in someone good enough to keep the season afloat. Have to turn Hardy/Powell/2nds into a useful backup center or point guard and use taxMLE on the other.

Doesn’t feel right though.

I’ve come around that I think Indy should deal Mathurin for a pick and reset the rookie contract clock.

I like this deal but I feel like Boston can get a better return for White than that

I think they'd be wise to as someone who is low on Matthurin. Think a lot of his success comes from the context he's in playing with tall Nash and they can find someone else

Which team do you think would do that deal and how low of a pick would you be willing to go?

Yeah, I wasn’t sure on value

Dallas could add the 2031 first, but that seems to take it too far imo.

Dallas could add Christie or Naji but they feel really minor.

Same with asking Dallas and SAS to chip in 1-2 seconds each for Boston. Both sides should agree to it, but just feels like stacking pennies.

Could be the 2031 first with strong protection I guess?

No idea. I’m the seller, not the buyer?

I would assume Brooklyn would consider one or multiple of their non lotto 1sts?

I looked at the list of free agent bigs that might command a minimum and it's not pretty. Mamu and Reed are the only two guys I like in that range. I've been hoping for Bari at the 5 to be more viable. I'm praying Ime tries that look more often next season.

San Antonio isnt giving up anything here to get that value. Of course the SA fan like its, they are giving up the two least valuable pieces in the trade and getting two solid players in return.

If PJ extended, I agree. But as is.. We hold on to him because he’s better on court than his trade value…just to watch him go to a team that will start him or pay him more? Doesn’t seem smart to me.

If the team would trade AD.. Yeah keep PJ agree.

Honestly do not believe they would at all.

Ah. Was just believing the many, many Brooklyn fans on these forums that have told me the would for a year, and including in the last week or two.

I mean I guess. PJ is an expiring contract and it's not really a great deal for us to pay a backup C 20M a season, because that's what Gafford would be here

Another random one.

Sexton and 21 for 15 and Joe.

Makes more sense with a third team? Probably.

Utah - trades up and gets a good shooter for the roster. Or flips him for whatever value Joe has.

OKC - the rich richer? One year sixth man in case Topic isn’t ready.

OKC looks to trade 21+24 for a protected future first? Or potentially to package them with Dieng/Kenny/Jones for a useful big forward and slide under the tax..
