I'm close to 99% certain that who they draft at #3 isn't the player that they end up with at the end of the day. Regardless of what happens, there's going to be some salty tears here tonight as some people initially are joyful and then go through the first 4 stages of grief in record time.

1) No, they didn't really just trade Bailey. Fake News!

2) GOSH DANG IT, MOREY IS SUCH A MORON!

3) Well, maybe they're trying to gain more assets before trading back for Bailey!

4) This team is such a joke! We had everything we ever wanted! We're doomed for failure forever!

The 5th stage might take a lot of time. And booze.

Current odds for 3rd pick on Hard Rock:

VJ -500
Tre +550
Ace +650
Kon +750

I’m putting my money where my mouth is. $30 says Ace is going to be the pick at #3, regardless of what ultimately happens.

This point I think Morey takes Ace just to dangle him to other teams lol. It's like a tick for him.

We should remember the last time our leader decided to get cute at the third selection.

Imagine having 5 first round picks in this dumpster fire draft.

If Brooklyn is so desperate to trade up and draft Bailey then they should have no issue at all coming off one or two of their warchest of draft picks. I would ask them for Keon Johnson as well in return. Shouldn't be a problem at all for them.
In other words...I'm calling bull on them "desperately" trying to.move up. Again, I'm all for this happening, but I'm not believing the hype right now.
Morey is no doubt going to extort as much as he can, but you don't want him pricing himself out (which he has done before). Brooklyn has five FRDPs...If I'm Morey I'm asking for 8, 19, and Keon Johnson for 3.

Im´m not that high on Harper but i think it would be better for our board if we draft him. If it´s VJ or Ace, there will be a lot of fights in here

I'm confident everyone will like VJ after he plays some games for us. His game is pure effort based and he's extremely likable.

If the 76ers are going to trade down for several picks just make sure one of them is Cedric Coward.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

I think most people will trust in Moreys decision actually. Initially though, ultimately time will tell how we think of Daryl and his choices.

But I fully intend to throw a false temper tantrum to piss off the hateR

A random complaint that’s not about the 3rd pick. But I absolutely hate the nba split the draft into 2 days. Maybe I’m just old school as I hate the NFL draft format as well. I just don’t get it. Picking at the top of the second I really wanted to see who we took tonight. Ah well.

I’m relieved to have a good, competent GM in this situation. The most Sixers outcome imo would be drafting Ace because we’re scared he becomes the next Tatum elsewhere. Instead, we bring him to Philly and he turns into a massive bust. Thankfully, I don’t think Morey takes the bait on that one.
