I don't see it. It would have to be for a superstar player only, and those things are hard to put together with so little time before the draft. The drop-off after Harper is large, wouldn't make any sense to trade down for picks only.
The draft, and trades, start with pick 3.

The only way San Antonio trades 2nd pick is for Giannis and that isn’t going to happen.

No chance. Dylan Harper will be a Spur. They've reportedly already traveled up to New Jersey to meet and spend time with both he and his parents. They love the kid, both his game and his high-character personality. They're locked into him at #2.

Its gotta be the move, but i have no faith in Jeff Peterson. He drafted salaun and brought in Josh Green his first year.Mr.Raptorsingh wrote:GiggitySmalls wrote:Josh Green is also trash. Hes not a starting caliber nba player. Getting Johnson and having Tre Mann back would be huge for us at sg.BigGargamel wrote:
Hornets were one of the worst three point shooting teams in the NBA, Tre Johnson might be the best three point shooter in the draft. Josh Green is hurt, giant hole at shooting guard. Johnson makes too much sense, so of course, the Hornets are going to pass on him.
I'm going to be a Charlotte resident this time next week, so I'd like the team to be decent so I can go see some games.

They gotta go Tre Johnson at 4 if Philly takes Edgecombe 3

Yet 30 of the 32 have yet to sign their NFL contracts.Nate505 wrote:Da Doctor wrote:They're embarrassingly trying to emulate the NFL, despite only diehards giving a damn about the NBA second roundzike_42 wrote:Why is the draft over two days? Was it like that last year? I don't remember. There's 60 picks, it's not like the NFL or MLB drafts with a million picks.
It's so dumb. 2nd round picks actually matter in the NFL and often are key players on teams.

I’m gonna say three, but they get one back so still end up w 3.
Which is still probably too many lol
If they can trade the #36 and stuff for a future FRP though that would be a good deal for them.

Brick feet. They have no chance of guarding anyone with him LaMelo and Miller in the backcourt. 175 DRTG
Legitimately the slowest perimeter player I think I’ve ever seen

Because he's the best prospect not named Flagg, Harper, or Edgecombe

They will. I don't ever recall a 2nd round pick holding out before a season starts, other than Cornelius Bennett like 40 years ago or so.

I have next to no knowledge about the draft these days and this is is still hilarious:

The writer knows his stuff so the comparisons are probably still decent even with the comedy.

Congrats you listed the literal only top 10 guy I would want less. Maluach is barely a first round level player, he just has long arms. Thabeet 2.0
As for why I dislike Kon…
Knueppel isn’t an awful player but his athleticism is legitimately worst in the NBA level. Like Georges Niang and him are pretty close except Niang is at least 6’7” and can guard up. Thats who he is, perimeter Georges Niang. He’s so so so slow. Like he actually makes me want to bang my head against the wall talking to Kon fans. How do you see a top 5 pick the kid can barely move. He won’t be able to keep a soul in front of him at the next level, he’s food in any switch, he’s just going to place a hard ceiling on your defense.

Why can’t he be Dillon Brooks on defense?
