Trade Rozier, Robinson, and 4 first round picks for an all star caliber small forward.

Give me a '27 so we can unlock all our picks. And I don't forsee the Lakers being good soon. The lost a lot of defense in ad, currently no center to speak of or even one worth a damn on the market. And very few assets left. They'd have to be gifted another in his prime star for like 6 months of LeBron or something to pull that off again.

Kleber is a very good pf. He overlaps with K Love. Not sure if Miami would include Love to the Lakers as a "thank you, see if LeBron can get you another ring"

No, we go after an all-star caliber player with 4 first round picks and expiring deals. We use Jovic as a 6th man.

That’s exactly what should happen for Love. Send him back home for one last run with Bron. That has feel good karma written all over it. We need that

Re: 2025 Offseason Season Thread Vol. 3
So, Pat Riley has to not like Wiggins at all.
He prefers Hachimura from Wiggins?
This is crazy and more crazy is that there will be a gap in wings without reason for Miami.
This is a desperate move from Riley.
I understand the Durant trade offers including Wiggins.
But you send Wiggins out to get Hachimura? Wow

Re: 2025 Offseason Season Thread Vol. 3
I think Pat wants to accumulate assets to make a run at a whale like Giannis or Fox if they become available. Otherwise, he wants the flexibility of expiring contracts that will be valuable by the trade deadline.

ROAD TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP

Pat is trying to accomplish 2 things. Gain trade assets (rookie contract players or draft picks) AND gain expiring contracts that are more attractive to teams looking to trade a star so they can sign who they want or gives us freedom to sign who we want.

They're trying to get a first round pick out of the deal, as well. Clearing off that money and having 4 tradable picks is a big deal.

To be honest and I feel bad saying this about an NBA vet. Moving Rozier off this team makes all the players in this roster better. Rozier had such a negative influence
