Gambo likes Murray Bowles.

In case you don't listen - he compared him to Draymond Green three times -- just in case you didn't hear it the first two times. But an undersized center... I think I would prefer him at the 4

Gambo says that he doesn’t expect Malouch to be available at #10 but if he is there the Suns will get him.

I think I slightly prefer Derik Queen (if his comp to Sabonis is close to correct), but I don't know enough about anyone else to prefer them to Carter Bryant. I think he can and will likely be a better player than Dunn in time. But yes, the question is can they play 3/4...or does Dunn have trade value if we took Bryant.

Of course we will probably trade 10 to move Beal.

I noticed Carte Bryant only averaged 19.3 minutes per game. He looks like a project with potential to me. I didn't watch any Arizona games, but heard from someone who did and they said to pass on him at #10.

He didn't play a lot but he always was clearly the most NBA looking athlete when on the floor. They just had a lot of upper classmen who had played together. But when he was out there he was very confident and confidently shot 3s, defended, could handle, had a lot of athleticism, etc.

Bryant looks like he could be decent at the three/four, depending on where they plan on playing Dunn. if it's not him, it's probably going to be best available. I still like Johni Broom or Kalkbrenner late in the first round. I also wouldn't be surprised if we trade 10 to OKC for a couple later picks, but if we do so, we alter the landscape somewhat and the potentials in that range aren't what I'd call mesmerizing or wow inducing. Reynaud wouldn't be a bad get for production and defense in the pivot.

Bottom line is we need size and strength. Shooting we have tons of and I hope they don't take another guard unless it's a point.

Did you watch him play? I have just watch some highlights. What do you think about him?

I found his stats really unimpressive and he doesn't seem to be a shot creator/facilitator. Great on defense? Potential as a 3&D?

I think that Cedric Coward is similar to him but he has already shown that he can score efficiently and he is great on defense. Similar size and athleticism, Coward 2 years older.

AZ had a lot of upper classmen who had played together already and he didn't get as many minutes as I though. Watching him I always thought he should get more minutes and thought he looked like your typical 3&D athlete that is confident and can handle and do most things. I don't know enough about the rest of the guys to really compare him, but based on what I saw from him, I'd be good if we took him, moreso than most any UA players who have come out in a long time.

Weird we didn't work out Queen and Bryant and The Athletic and ESPN have them mocked to us. Unless they just held workouts for multiple teams to watch and those are not listed under each team that was there.

It's pretty much smoke at this point per Brian Windhorst:

"The Cavs said the only way they would ever consider this would be if the Suns sent Kevin Durant plus other assets,” Windhorst said. “And the Suns didn’t hang up the phone. I’ll just point out that the Suns own the Cavs’ 2029 first-round pick because they got it from the Jazz last year. And getting back your own picks in the distant future is somewhat attractive. But the Cavs to do that trade would have had to offload salary because they just couldn’t take it on. I do think they had some calls about bringing in third teams. It just wasn’t one call."

"And it wouldn’t have been just Durant. And it wasn’t them looking to trade Garland, but they made more than one call. This was a while ago."

Moral of the story is: No Durant, No Deal.

Well, a typical 6'7 3&D who has averaged 6.5 points and has played just 19 mpg doesn’t look too exciting to me.

I saw that he hasn't created at all and basically all his points arrived after an assist. Those type of players usually doesn't have a successful career in the NBA. Only BIGS (over 6'9) can be successful with that type of offensive game.

Dunn was selected at #28 and that was a nice selection and I think he is pretty similar to Carter Bryant. Yeah, Carter is one year younger but he wasn't the defender that Dunn was in college.

IDK...I would prefer other prospect at #10 over Carter Bryant.
