after doing some actual research for the first time over the last two days I don't think it's thaaaaaat bad like I originally thought

the 8-16 range is pretty weak, but the 20-40 range seems very deep

40+ looks like a crapshoot and I def agree about wanting to move up tho

the one guy I'd be thrilled with that could be around at #47 is Sion, would also be happy enough with Zikarsky

I don't think Sion falls anywhere near us, and Kalkbrenner likely going in the first round is still pretty wild to me. Maybe the valuations of these prospects really is just all over the place, cuz if a guy like Jase Richardson actually falls to the 20's, I'm doing everything I can to grab a 1st round pick to use on him. But I think any pick after 35 is especially worthless. All the intriguing/young international guys will likely be gone (Yang, Markovic, Penda) and you're basically just picking between whatever JAG 5th year senior with sub-NBA physical tools that you can talk yourself into. The NIL stuff really has knee-capped the depth of this class.

I feel just the opposite.

Kalkbrenner is moving up because he has good basketball skills and great size. He was defensive player of the year for several years in a row and would be a perfect drop defender. Not a switchable guy, but high BBIQ and potential for a stretch shooter in a few years.Fills a Lopez void.

Richardson is list at 6'2"but is closer to 6'. Good defender, but at 6' is not switchable. Good BBIQ but I wouldn't move up and give up assets to take a kid without size. In second round, sure.

Not expecting to hear anything about the Bucks tonight. But I hope it's an entertaining evening and everyone has a good time.

I know they'd never do it because teams need time to prepare, but it would be interesting if they did the NBA lottery immediately before the draft.

You could even reveal the picks in correct order. Imagine the lottery going on with the draft.

Tonight they're like "Dallas has the number one pick and they're on the clock."

You have no clue who has the second pick. Teams can still trade. So if I'm the team with the best odds at the second pick I can trade that off right now and receive a nice return...not knowing if it's truly pick two or five.

That would be great for fans and horrible for everyone else. I love it

Looking forward to falling in love with whatever questionable prospect we collect. A young big would be a nice change of pace.

We could draft the lamest prospect in the history of professional sports and I’m still throwing out all star comps after 5 minutes of watching highlight videos.

Yeah, I need a guy I've never heard of until today who is likely to fall to us and me becoming irrationally depressed we didn't draft this potential stud

Is there any young second rounders? They all seem like 24 year old super senoirs .
