I wonder how far Ace Bailey intended to slip. Was he hoping to go #8 to the Nets? It's like he was purposely intending not to go to any of the teams in the top 5.

I'm pretty sure the story back in the day was that Steph Curry wanted to go to the Knicks and did not want to go to the Warriors. Warriors drafted him anyways and it all worked out.
