This is what I think happened. Nothing else makes any sense.

The 2029 first-rounder is least favorable of Cleveland, Utah, and Minnesota (1-5 protected), sources said. Size was a problem for the Suns last season and they addressed in a big way with Williams and Khaman Maluach. Hornets net two first-rounders.

This is basically "we really, really don't want to pay this guy"

So we trade our only decent big for two junk firsts, one that won't convey for 4 years. Next year is going to be a fun watch with even more talent being sold and the most mid rookie possible.

No prospect back in return? Or do we get bad salary back?

garbage ass trade. 29th pick in this draft and a likely late 1st in 2029

Isn’t it a little odd to have Mark and Maluach on the same team though? We were worried about that lol

Phoenix will have to send matching salary too. I doubt it will be anything other than a bad contract.

Might be time to start walking back some commentary about his injuries, kind of the only thing that makes sense

Only thing I’m really mad about is the canceled lakers trade. That killed any value he had. They honestly wanted to get rid of him for injury concerns and I guess terrified to extend him.

Good question. I guess he comes back to us and the suns get the 29th pick they didn’t even pick?

Excellent question actually.

My power went out because of a thunderstorm.

So, we traded Mark again, eh?

Fire Jeff Peterson tonight. This is a fireable offense.

It's been too long since I've assessed our roster... what's our center rotation right now? Just Nurk and Diabate? Do we even have a C3 on the roster right now?
