The non-playing in finals is a flag on Essengue. Not the leaving, but the not being worth minutes.

Essengue is fine though.

Disappointing, but I'm OK with it.

Me too. I wanted KJ all along and he was right there to select.

Hopefully Noa is a great surprise.

I love KJ but the fit is terrible unless we were letting Giddey walk (which I wouldn’t have been mad at tbh)

All they had to do was take the gift horse…. Oh AKME, how I hate you.

Essegue I was high on, then down, then high again then down.

What does he do thats great? He is long and can run, doesn't shoot well, not a great offensive weapon, his motor is great, his length is great, he should play very well with Giddey....can he guard 3s?

KJ isn’t a point. He is a combo. He would potentially supplant Coby. Zero impact on Giddey. Doesn’t matter now. Now will likely be mid to another AKME bust, if Billy ever plays him, and if he does, Giddey will be forced to defend the perimeter and become a huge liability again. Hooray!

Giddey feeding Matas and Noa? That could be fun if they can defend and get the fast break rolling.

Wow didn’t think anyone expected AK to pass on KJ. He probably won’t be able to sleep tonight.

Alright, I'm over my Jakucionis let down. Go get it, Noa. Hopefully we have two big wing monsters for the next decade.

That's the guy I wanted, so color me pleased. I thought KJ might slip and he wuld have been tempting, but I think Essengue has the highest upside in the draft after the first 4-5 guys.

#16, a future first and 2nds. I don't know details about the future first or how many seconds.

Shams: The Portland Trail Blazers are trading No. 11 pick Cedric Coward to the Memphis Grizzlies, sources said. The Grizzlies are sending the No. 16 pick, a 2028 first-round pick via Orlando and two second-rounders to Portland.

He's 18, switchable as all hell, is big enough to get his shot off at three levels and has been putting up serious numbers and highlights quite recently.

But we took a HR swing if we strike out who cares? It's not like you get a Siakam like upside at 13.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

I've harped on CMB for a while, and I'm actually surprised he went that high. Coward, I'm still not entirely convinced. That said, I wouldn't have traded up for CMB, so I'm okay with not getting him.

As you said though, whoever was left on the board, Nao and Carter were the players with the highest upside, but Nao isn't going to contribute for a few seasons, but he definitely has the potential to be a two way high impact player.
Why so serious?
