Definitely talent worthy of the pick. Questionable fit but he'll be a good player.

Another potential steal. At least AK has been smart enough not to look a gift horse in the mouth the last two drafts. Would have been fine with KJ but I think Noa has more upside and better fit.

We love to draft defensive guys who can’t score or create their own shot. And then wonder why our offense struggles. We keep drafting the same guy.
Dalen Terry. Patrick Williams. Julian Philips. This is the same guys we keep drafting and im over it.

Excellent pick. Reminds a lot of jdub. Potential through the roof.
Theres a small chance the French center drops to the second. If that were to happen, I would trade for a pick to take him

I hope we don’t regret passing on Queen. Taking Noa over him is a pivotal crossroads for the organization. Also interesting we opted not to trade up 2 picks to get Maluach. Thought he was going to fall after the Mark Williams trade.
Let’s hope we were right.

I'm not going to get too up or down on him. I like that he has a short first name, because it will take me a while to learn to spell Essengue (I cheated here).
I'm happy we didn't draft Demin, Queen or Maluach.

The board was breaking so good for us that I felt in my soul we’d **** this pick up. But nope. We took the guy with the most obvious upside case for the second year in a row. WHEW. Feels good.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but this guy is supposed to be much better at dunking and being a rim runner with Giddey.

Re: Chicago Bulls select Noa Essengue - #12 overall
Fairly high risk pick with high upside, so I'm glad AK is gambling for a great player vs a roleplayer. I think the only question is whether it was worth passing on KJ who was available.
He's only 18 and not really advanced for his age unlike Flagg or Fears, so I think it will be years before Noa starts beating the competition if he has that talent. Anyone hoping for a big impact right away like Matas will probably be disappointed.
