It's definitely better than ours. There's a lot of punch in there, even with two rooks.

Charlotte must be super desperate to get rid of Mark Williams.

Possible attitude problems???

Dude it's the Hornets. No surprise.

Some teams like the Hornets might never be good, they keep trading their youngsters for future draft picks so they are perpetually stuck in rebuilding.

Tbh if you say that as a suns fan, you truly have to give up the fandom. Not one person can cheer on the spurs

Not sure what to make of today for the Suns so far.

Maluach is a massive developmental pick. Started basketball late and very young for the draft. Big upside if he continues to improve, or he could end up being a run of the mill rim running center. I doubt he's a major contributor next year though.

Mark Williams trade would make a lot more sense if he could stay on the court. He should be cheap to retain, he's better than Richards, and he'd be a good backup for Maluach if he pans out sooner than later. I'm not sure about giving up Pick 29 and another first round pick for a guy that has played about 100 games in 3 seasons though, it seems like an unnecessary gamble. Emulating the Hornets center rotation is probably not a winning strategy either.

It's weird they didn't mention what we would send out to get Williams. We didn't have a trade exception did we? I don't know what kind of cap space they have...maybe they absorb some salary....or maybe just take back similar salary like Richards.

Yeah, I am guessing its to maintain some flexibility but O'neale fits right in there and provides more value in the deal for CHA, but it might just be Martin

EDIT: LOL, I guess its Mijcic, even better for us. I thought Micic was going to take a contract in Europe already.

I mean stacking first rounders like OKC is smart but surely they could have gotten a much better deal than two late firsts.

No way we traded for a guy who was red flagged by the Lakers lol.

This guy has his own logo/initials as a necklace?

That's a bit presumptuous.

He's not really expiring. We can offer him a second contract, but we can match any offer next summer if we haven't agreed to an extension.

Suns trading Micic actually cost them some money that they were planning on saving since they are getting Mark Williams. Suns are going to need some kind of salary dump in order to get under the 2nd apron, I'm not sure how they are going to do it.

I think the hornets paid Micic for two first round picks….
