So much Miami smoke with WCJ that with Klutch pulling the strings would be hard not to see him get picked by us. Almost seems as telegraphed as DaRon Holmes to Nuggets last year

Mark Williams - Hornets (6m expiring)
2027 first round pick from Hornets (the one we gave them)

Lakers receive:

Feel like at 6'6 Harper could also play the 2, but you're right.

I just don't know if I want Bailey (though it's a different convo if Harper has him under his wing). He comes off super immature and doesn't scream winner to me.

I would take Harper 2 and then move from 5 to 9 and pick up some future assets though.

To get an idea of what the Lakers and Hornets would want in a deal involving those players: In the rescinded trade in February, Lakers had agreed to send rookie Dalton Knecht, forward Cam Reddish, a 2031 first-round pick, and a 2030 pick swap to the Hornets for Williams.

The Hornets are not going to give up Williams and a first rounder for Knect. They will want a first and Knect heading there way for Williams.

It’s hard to even judge the shooters over the last few years on some of the passes that land in their general area …
