I think he did. It seems like a throwaway pick to me. I could see him at 31.

He's 2 years away from being 2 years away.

He is 2 years away from having 2nd round picks attached to dump his salary.

Totally fine with Beringer. Hes got time to develop, has great tools, might still be growing. Only been playing for 4 years.

I think it has to be defense. Right? I didn’t love him. He really doesn’t drive past people often. But smart, 6’6” guards that can, theoretically, shoot it usually don’t slide.

That's my guess. I think he's a pretty good offensive player and he has good enough measurables. But maybe people think hes just too slow to stay in front of people? Feel like hes a better prospect than Denim.

After missing out on essengue, beringer is the next highest upside project.

When you have a coach like Finch, HAVE to draft projects... or Fire Finch.

Beringer is worth the roll of the dice. Best pick we could have made.

Connelly loves centers, draft center, trade center, move center, draft center again. I supposed let's keep doing that since his other draft picks has not pan out

OK talking myself off the ledge he's only 18.6 years old. Lot of time to improve.

nobody who was drafted was going to play on this team, might as well get the best upside

EXACTLY!!!!
Why are people whining that he'll need time to develop?
We already don't have enough minutes for the young guys currently on the roster.

He seems extremely athletic, hard rim runner and springy defender.

They defenitely planning for post Gobert/Randle future.

This will be known around these parts in the future as the draft where we took a bust one pick before Walter Clayton Jr.

Fleming was the safest pick but Beringer could be a home run. Huge risk though.
