Was Reilly spoofing Vivek there
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Have fun reading Mr.Draft expert, It was Ace or Jak.

Are you able to read? There are a bunch of different names being mentioned. A few guys say Jak, and there are others saying Maluach, Bailey, Edgecombe, etc.

But yeah, everyone wanted Jak…

look at the poll and post
It was Ace then Jak at 3. It wasn't even close after Jak in the polls. That's way more than a few

Miami's a good fit for KJ. They'll turn him into the best he can be

I think he's going to be one of the steals of this draft. The fact Miami selects him only reinforces that belief.

Great value for Miami. They've turned a lot less talented players than Jak into nice pieces.

Would love a trade up to pick up Raynaud. A perfect complement to CMB

this is such a deep draft!
Disappointed we couldn't grab another top 20 pick.

It's possible he won't, but CMB isn't positioned to do much better.

If we're trading Scottie I need to see Jaylen Brown donning the crappy chevron

I guess he's an option. He's a good defender, but he's also not better than BI on offense, and that's a little concerning for a guy who is going to finish his deal at 65 million a year.

S.W.A.N wrote:Nah. CMB is coming off the bench for a year or two, as would any player picked at 9.

To what end?

Reeko wrote:From range the jump shot is so bad. He's good from the middy range, but from distance is pretty atrocious.

This is the same nonsense we've been holding out for with Scottie. If we want guys who can shoot, we should draft guys who can shoot, not projects with a high-percentage chance to never learn how and barely shot 70% at the line in his second college season.

Reeko wrote:Time to shift gears. CMB is a great pick. He'll probably be an All Star by year 3 and perennial All NBA starting year 5. One of the greatest defenders in the history of the league, 3x DPOY.

I respect the hustle. I'm still not done being mad yet, so I'm not ready for ridiculous, hyperbolic optimism yet. Perhaps tomorrow xD Then maybe we can start talking about how we're going to mold him into a SF and develop his shooting proficiency through warlock nonsense, and then he'll be That Guy (TM) for us.

I know Masai doesn't really do drafting for need, but after a season where we were the 6th-worst offense in the league, you'd think he would pick an offensive player, and not a roleplayer-level defensive forward lacking size.

We traded for an elite offensive player in Brandon Ingram and are developing Gradey Dick and Walter.

We have a good mix of D and O right now.

IF CMB works out, we are talking about having a top 3 defense in the league.

I'm just glad we went D instead of O. I would've hated Queen as our pick.

Ingram is not an elite offensive player. His career TS% is below league average.

CMB effectively locks us into a middling offense. Our 3pt shooting is going to be near bottom of the league. Also, how many rookies actually have a positive impact defensively? The numbers are incredibly low.

At 20 he's definitely a steal.

The pick comes in, and the hosts just keep babbling about whatever for another 5 mins before they let Silver announce it. Really trying to strrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetch for that ad revenue.
