To be fair, we draft pretty well. Winslow didn't pan out, but Bam and Herro ended up being All-Stars. We didn't get a superstar, but both guys ended up being major contributors as much as people dislike Herro. Bam has been a very good player for us.

Celtics offered like 5 picks he was considered a lock

Riley master class making teams think he wanted Clayton or Traore when he really wanted Kasparas all along.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Not even. If he was, he would be a top 3 pick.

Is he a true pg? Or are we trading Herro?

Hearing people say he'll be hunted on defense, that doesn't sound promising next to Herro.

Would have preferred Fleming with WCJ off the board. We don't need another turnover prone player. That's our problem now

We can fix that. Can’t complain getting lottery value at 20

Herro can barely cross halfcourt against pressure defense

Need a wizard handler next to him not another weak dribbler

Idk....would've rather traded it for a future pick and opened things up. We shall see. This guy is years away on the Jovic track prolly.

Nobody is guaranteed to pan out. You don't pass on that kind of value at 20. The Heat made the right move 100%.
