This draft gets a D-

It's like the year of tanking went to waste once Carrington made that shot.

Riley put on 20 pounds since last season, but don't really get this one. Not much length. He's over 6-9 in shoes but while I liked him in college, I also get a lot of Patrick Baldwin Jr. vibes. More skilled though but not very athletic. Should have stayed in school.

Riley measured taller than his college listing, suggesting he is still growing.

We sure have a lot of skinny guys.

That's the OKC model. Now we just need to add an SGA type (and solid veteran center after that).

Why are people disappointed? Almost 6-9, and is a Will Dawkins special — a guy who had a massive growth spurt, from 5-9 as a high schooler til now. Which means he’s got guard skills.

Dawkins has a type, it’s obvious now.

It was a joke in the Redskins/Commanders forums that after Jayden Daniels, we didn't get skipped for the first time in decades lol. Since the Wiz are total --- for the foreseeable future, it's commercial, commercial, commercial lol.

I watched Illinois several times to check out Kasparas and soured on him, but was pretty impressed with Riley. Good skills with the ball but man he is skinny.

I guess he’s still growing into his frame, so his stats will lag? Odd pick

Just kind of a meh pick. Had good workouts apparently but when it mattered, shot just 43% from the field and 32.6% from 3pt in college. Just 4.1 rebounds. Average length and defender.

6’9 185 is crazy but like others said, he measured an inch taller than they thought. So yeah, Dawkins’ type. Maybe he’ll end up 6’10.

Are you talking about the Washington Wizards?

They don't need to "just" add a SGA; they need to add a JWill, Chet, Hartenstein, Dort, no need to go on. This roster is missing actual starters on a good team. Take the Wizards best player, and you'd find a bench player for an actual real NBA team.

I understand getting talent but the number of wings on this team is insane and only one big guy with potential.
