He's also strong enough to hang at the post despite his height.

He's basically going to experience what Scottie did 1st 2 years and become garbage man C lol, but off the bench instead of starting

Need more shooting 100%....I feel it will be a Barnes vs CMB thing for a while like Ross vs DD....

Both maybe can play together at times but they both operate in the same areas on the court.
Ross vs dd or do you mean barnes vs siakam all over again?

CMB said he knows it's a 3 point shooting league and already started working on his mechanics. Let's see how he develops.

Yeah the 3 pointer will be a developmental thing but i would not hold my breath on CMB becoming a knock down shooter ever in his career....I think building the right players with him and adding more shooting around him would be more plausable ....If he adds an elite jumpshot in his game i would be a little shocked.

I hope we don't look back on the Barnes years in the same way as the Bargnani ones. Record wise it's looking pretty similar so far.

I’ll give CMB this…everything about him is tuff.

The fit (his suit), the personality and even the initials sounds like a certified dog.

I’m just trying to take the positives out this because the fit on court is tough too lol

Ingram/Barnes/Murray look like a pretty cool 6’7” trio though. Not many teams can throw a lineup like that out there. If only they can shoot lol.

Obviously Barnes/OG/Siakam was also considerably cool and failed, so it really means nothing I guess.

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Wolf still on the board
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Americans not understanding a Canadian city isn't anything new lol. It has been happening since our inception. They then come here and hate when they get traded from here. We've had guys get traded from the Raptors and wear their Raptors practice gear under their new teams clothes after being traded.

Our city and the team culture will cure all this very quick lol

I still have a high hope for Barnes to eventually get it but hopefully Boyles has better work ethic and actually get a jumper sooner then later. Please let the Gamble pay off

Now that the draft is over I can finally say it: Maluach rode the coattails of Flagg, Knuepple, and Proctor. Lots of bigs would've looked good in that situation. People just liked him because he's long.

We will look for a backup 5 in FA most likely but I can't see us investing much into one. Plan very likely is to hope guys like Mogbo and CMB can be a small ball 5 for the non Jak mins.

We will look back on the “Barnes era” as a very dark time in Raptor history

Wasn’t on my short list but was on the list of some smart people I trust, obviously high on the Raps list too.

I totally get it and see the upside - just have to pray the shot comes along to some degree. What degree will determine how high the ceiling ends up. The defence and smarts are there, scoring is the question. A little more size would be nice but has the length to be a small ball C at least.
