But like I said maybe they pick a player like you're talking about at 24?

Oh yeah I mean they did fine but it was still an area of weakness that you can see which Pacers didn't exploit as much. Yeah they still can make a pick there. Or trade for one from another team. It's really a situational defensive need for them so the guy doesn't have to be a top prospect. There's some under the radar guy they can find in draft or on another team.

Or maybe someone like Dieng develops? Although I say that and he's been in the league for three seasons.

an OKC fan was saying Dieng isn't going to develop. I'm just playing arm chair GM tryna build an ideal team but I think like this kid Riley would've been ideal for that OKC SF spot. Let's see who else is left.

Rockets did alright. We got KD.

ABC/ESPN maximizing that ad time. Disney has bills to pay.

No. At this rate, the 2nd round would go well past 2am.

And I think the 2nd roundplayers deserve to have their moment, too.

Sitting there for hours waiting for your name to be called if you happen to slip is brutal.

I know NBA has its own reasons for it, but for the players, better to get some rest, refresh, and get your own moment the next day. I like it.

Jazz drafted Riley but Washington traded for him...? Any idea what the details are?

As other people have pointed out the NBA does it for money. I doubt it's because they want 2nd round picks to have their time to shine too.

It's fine...just odd.

Drake Powell's freshman year left me underwhelmed. But I didn't like UNC's roster composition at all, so that may not have been his fault.

We all have bills to pay, but I don't care about a big corporation like them.

However I know....companies will squeeze out ever dollar they can get today.
