That would be the sour cherry on top of the crap cake.

Would be almost as weird as Brooklyn keeping all their 1sts.

This is just weird.

Hey maybe it will be better to have 3 late pick rookies playing 35 minutes in January than 3 random G leaguers playing 35 minutes in January

I've been pretty reserved the last few years but this draft feels a bit aimless.

I’m seriously asking if there’s anything we could do at this point that wouldn’t have you guys complaining lmao

(I agree not being able to move further up is disappointing)

I would rather have Asa Newell than Salaun

This draft shows the front office is all over the place. Kon is a pick that tells you they think they can still compete with the current core, but then trading Mark for nothing shows that winning still likely isn't the goal. We picked the most low potential pick possible while also putting us in an even worse position to compete.

Tidjane and Kon this is a bad start for Peterson and company.

Definitely not a believer. I see no vision. We went for upside with Salaun then we went for role player/high IQ with a top 5 pick with Kon.

This team lacks talent. Peterson looks like a rookie in his first 2 years.

100% - none of it makes sense. Let's wait and see on 29. 33. 34 but my guess is it still is coo-coo.

OKC just gave the 24 for nothing, so I guess we really didn't want to trade up. Watch us trade out of the draft for cash considerations

I guess I was the only one on here that wanted Kon but I think he offers them flexibility with whichever path they choose. If Melo/Miller stay healthy this season and the team exceeds expectations, Kon is a natural fit between the two while they try to build around this current core. But say this year is another disaster and they look to trade LaMelo, Kon naturally fits any type of future path they take for roster construction.

I said it yesterday and I'll say it now, you force yourself into a corner having 4 picks on one night. None of them have value because no team wants to trade for all of that. You devalue everything and either draft 4 rookies or make a trade back getting little return. it's a stupid process.

Newell would've been the type of guy to trade up for but nobody wants that capital

Sir we have been one of the worst ran franchises in the entire league for decades. I wish we had some consistent success as a franchise but we haven't seen that since the 90's.

Why should we be hopeful?
