Get Nique / Fleming / Thiero

I hope not. If anything use some of the SRP we just got from MEM to trade up in R2. I would target BRK at 36.

That being said - I still would take this draft over the NO draft. Trading a 2026!!!! UNP FRP and 23 to move up for Queen is WILDLY worse than this pick. Its not even close. That team sucks, just traded for Poole, is relying on Zion and drafted 7 in 2025 - and they traded a UNP 2026 FRP + 23 for Queen. I would be ripping my hair out if I was a Pelicans fan.

LOL and now ATL gets the guy they wanted at 13 at 23 in Newell + that 2026 FRP UNP. Incredible

You can't predict that you can get the guy you want in next years draft.

Just because we're targeting Dash Daniels doesn't mean we can get him....

I have this strange feeling of Deni-Deja-Vu . I think I will hold my judgements on our pick until summer league is over, but it is a bit strange that this was THE GUY.

Like selling the picks last year this was made for non-basketball reasons
From Portland to Reno to Vegas to LA to SLC and on to HotLanta. Winning at life. Too Blessed to be Stressed

It's really closer to ten at this point. I think the time between the New Orleans 13th and Spurs 14th pick was at minimum eight minutes IIRC.

McNeeley on the board is kinda nuts.

I could’ve even sold myself on him at 16?!

Well I dont like the yang pick otoh the magic pick is a good chip shot if unprotected. You never know with small market picks they could deliver

BRK keeping all these picks is wild. What’s the record?

Also, none of them can really shoot lol

This is a low blow for me personally, as I actually suggested on this site days before the draft, that the Blazers should do exactly what they did by getting Collins. Still kinda think we ruined the kid by trying to make him a C, instead of a stretch 4. Not sure about the answer to your question though. Hopefully Yang will become a surprise like the Greek Freak was when he got drafted.

What can we compare this to?

Has anything like this happened before?

I still don't like the pick where we made it. If this is what we wanted to do, I feel we should've traded 11 to New Orleans for that unprotected 2026 and hope that he was still there at twenty-three.

But a lot of us did want them to make a big swing. I guess they did. I don't think this one will work out, but maybe I'll be wrong.

Come on man. Anthony Bennett was taken number one. This isn't great, but it isn't the end of the world.

It really is though.

We have 5 centers. Coward was the steal of the draft and we had him. We could have bought a second round pick and got Yang.
