I think this was the plan all along. Durant was the only disruption at the right price. Otherwise, Riley is going for the whale (Giannis type)

So Brooklyn is really about to draft 5 players in the first round this year?

2026 is definitely the target deadline for committing to the next 3-5 year window one way or another.

Because that same sentence describes the worst pick we had in a while, Justise. I want us to work out the guy we are drafting round 1.

The story of Winslow is a tale of a dude broken by Spo. 6’6 on a 215 frame (soaking wet) playing center and PF. Ruined his career with injuries and he lost his time on development.

Nah not really. He just REALLY bad touch. He never could figure out how to shoot or finish in the rim. Ain't no place in the league for undersized wings who can't shoot or finish.

Spo playing him center didn't help with his injuries. But Spo ain't the reason his career didn't work out

Now if only Spo would play them all to see what we got and let them develop instead of worrying about playins and 1st round sweeps in historic fashion.

Underrated KJ element: great rim finisher

67% at the rim for a Freshman guard is excellent. 62% in the halfcourt also very strong.

Winslow missed more open baskets, especially layups, than anyone I can remember. It was insane how many times the ball would bounce out of the basket. He would be so effective getting to the basket and then miss the easiest layups.
