Kalkbrenner remains a day 2 possibility - and would make me very excited

That's frustrating.

They think the Bulls really have enough talent to compete?

I would love to get Kalkbrenner at #45, but doubt it, he will be there. Even C Zikarsky, SF Tonje or PG Small would be fine!

I bet he won't be there at #45. Maybe they trade up?

Fun stuff. Just give up on the 2nd round. Sigh.

Kalkbrenner and Raynaud are still available and might be players to go after.

I know Muzbar mentioned Rocco Zikarsky, but I know nothing about him.

Oh wait...Rasheer Fleming too!

Minnesota at 3t...Boston at 32...Charlotte at 33 and 34...Philly at 35.

They could all use a center (especially Boston). Charlotte now that they traded Mark Williams (they could use a backup for Nurkic).

Lot of good Center prospects still available. Might have to trade up to get one. Either buy one or trade a future 2nd to nab a pick in the 30s.

I listened to the press conference he said:

They can make the pick and sign them to the team

Make the pick and sign them to a 2-way contract

Make the pick and draft and stash them

Or look to trade the pick

He basically just gave a diplomatic answer listing out every possibility then Cowley tweets out a portion of his answer to drive anger.

Bulls roster is actually pretty full. And any Vucevic/Collins/Huerter trade could return two players, those are some big expirings. They still have Terry, Phillips, Ayo and Williams to play this season. Makes sense to trade the second to me if we could get say 2 seconds when we have more roster spots. Just re-sign Tre Jones with that roster spot and you have a ton of trade possibilities with all these guards.

We have 3 centers who all need minutes and we're rushing to draft a center, lol. If we do get rid of Vuc for a non-center, we still have Collins and Smith. Running out of minutes for a rookie to play.

Yeah, he said that we could move up, move down, trade the pick, draft-and-stash. Basically every conceivable option.

Keep the pick. Grab Rocco Zikarsky, add to the front court length.
Here to argue about nonsensical things and suck away your joy. :kissmybutt:

Man, this draft is gonna have some real sad busts (hopefully not us). I don’t know who or where, but there’s no way so many “reach-picks” pan out, and there’s no way so many top-10 slips bust.

Gonna be an interesting ROY race.

Raynaud and Fleming are first round talents. Theirro to me looks really interesting. If I could get any of those three guys that's a win. If not, I'm ok trading this pick for a future second. It's tough finding meaningful talent in the mid 40s.

Sounds well set up to take a raw 18 year old at pick 12..... :banghead:
