Ok, so we know we have Thiero, Kalkbrenner, Raynaud, Fleming left but I'm sure we have a cub scout leader that has a lot of heart in the mix

I will say one thing though, Peterson really doesn't seem to have any strategy or rhyme or reason for doing the things he does.

Kon at #4 is solid, I think people are being overly dramatic about it. Ace is the polar opposite of the "Hornets Culture" stuff for multiple reasons. There is a case for Tre, obviously, but he has defensive issues too and may have an iffy fit with Melo. I'm sure if VJ was on the board, he would've been picked.

Trading Mark for this package doesn't make any sense. McNeely is... alright? But where are we playing him?

And are we actually using both of our 2nd round picks? I would have to assume so, we need a center badly.

what's funny is I bet Ammo and Carroll would beat the two new ones in a game of 2 on 2

We are gonna break the 3pt attempts record based on this draft. We didn't get physical at all. We got 2 high IQ role players and not much else.

Peterson might be worst than MJ and im being dead serious.

Boston apparently was going to take McNeely at 32, Charlotte probably gambled on the center until 33 and 34.

Can we get a "bring back the Bob" movement going?

just once I want a GM to make moves that seem to make sense in the moment. that is such a low bar

Someone with a lot more time than me needs to go back over the last 15 years and see what the board would have picked based on our rankings and see if they beat what the actual team picked

Liam McNeeley is a proper Celtic name, I'll give him that. Maybe this is a Lee pick.

Well this was interesting.

Also, the draft being 2 days is stupid.

Kon & Liam meet Melo & Miles
Culture building?
oil + vinegar?
I just don’t get what they’re trying to build

If they get Fleming at #33 that would be such good value for #29 + #33. Need to fade him for two more picks and not be stupid.

I still don't think any outcome from these late picks could make up for taking Kon at #4 and trading Mark.
