If he can develop a jumper he will be really good, but that's a big If. One thing I do like, is that it seems like he has an edge and toughness about him our team could really use. Excited to see the Small Ball lineup with CMB, Scottie and Ingram out there.

Could be great but yeah the lack of a real backup big and shooting is a massive concern.

His shot isn’t THAT bad.

i dunno, sounds like is release is pretty good but his problem is his setup? time will tell but im optimistic tbh.

Have the last 30 "athletic guys that can't shoot, that we can totally teach how to shoot" that didn't pan out not dampen your optimism?

Who? We’ve drafted Siakam, OG, and Bruno as guys that fit that mold. CMB is by far the best of the 4 prospect wise.

You just continue to bitch for the sake of it.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Why can't he get off the ground more for dunks? His vertical must be below avg for his size in the NBA

Does it matter if he has more balance in his pinkie ring than OG has in his entire body? lol.

It’s pretty bad but he has amazing touch around the rim.

He’s already mentioned that he’s reworking his shot from the ground up. Darko and him will have a lot of painful summer days ahead but it’s encouraging that he’s aware of it.

Call me crazy, but CMB's shooting form looks like James Harden's.

Think it’s just because he’s a leftie

It reminds me of a very young Julius Randle’s. He’s got a lot of work to do on it in terms of his mechanics.

CMB has traits you can't teach. Can't wait to see him playing defense beside Scotty.

They said the same thing about Scottie

I was already upset at the notion they wanted to pair Scottie with Gianni’s who is a top 5 player just because they didn’t fit together… guess what they did one better by pairing him with another draymond geeen. Holy **** I normally don’t give a **** but just based on direction this is madness

Your overreaction is hilarious

I’m glad it’s hilarious. It’s not that serious it’s just an opinion.

If he was slightly bigger he would be Julius, better defender & probably better playmaker.

The fact you were worried about fit when possibly going after Giannis says it all

You think this guy is a better prospect than siakam and even og? Considering how they both turned out this is a pretty bold statement.

Giannis plus Scottie on same team is a horrible fit and waste of assets. If you acquire Gianni’s you definitely extract the most value out of Scottie for talent that fits with Gianni’s game…

People should know better by now look at the phoenix suns… talent on its own doesn’t mean anything if the talent doesn’t complement each other.

This post from a Raptors fan who predicted we'd draft CMB got me hyped. Masai has done it again.

If this kid shoots it, he's a much better player than OG.

A lot of people will regret their take.

If CMB reaches his ceiling, he would be OG-lite

If he reaches his ceiling, he’ll be way better than OG. CMB is so much more fluid on offense, with his playmaking ability, awareness, and his touch. CMB processes the game at an elite level and that’s one of his most impressive qualities.

If talking purely pre-draft, I think you rank him above OG and Scottie. Not sure about Siakam, but Siakam was older and in a weaker conference.

Yeah he’s 100% the best prospect. There’s a reason he went 9 and Siakam went 27.
