Long time lurker here. Feels great that my homeboy Jakucionis dodged the Wizards and Suns. From what I remember you guys have great player development. Jakucionis is a gymrat. One of those psycho ones that just wanna live in there and not do anything else.

Oh man...I really wanted Nolan Traore.

I'm not happy about our Dragic knock off, Don't like it.

I'm down bad

Yahoo Sports really hit us with the worst pick grade in the entire first round haha

20. Miami Heat: Kasparas Jakučionis, G, Illinois
Grade: D+

"The Heat were probably hoping for Walter Clayton Jr. with this pick. For every beautiful assist Jakučionis had as a freshman, there's an equally ugly bone-headed turnover. He had 11 games this past season with more turnovers than made shots. As a primary creator, he's not a Tyrese Haliburton type. Think more along the lines of Spencer Dinwiddie; he's one of your guys on the roster, but he's not THE guy."

I'm a bit biased because Jakucionis is my guy, but this yahoo grader is mentally disabled. You could grade it as a D if Jakucionis was picked in the top3, sure. But for 20th pick, he was one of the BPAs out there.

The funny thing is the same dude had Kasparas at 14 on his big board. Mocked him at 16 to the Grizzlies. And rated him as the 4th best guard in the draft behind Harper, Tre, and Fears. Makes no sense that he got super negative about the pick after it dropped way lower than his own big board.

Not really familiar with the draft class this year but Kasparas looks like a high ceiling, low floor player. I like that, we usually pick low ceiling, high floor players and end up overvaluing them.

Looks like a player of serious potential offensively. Aside from Ware we don't have anyone with that much upside. I've been hoping for a Jovic breakout for years but I'm not holding my breath anymore.

Like him a lot more then WCJ.

But less then Nolan Traore.

We'll see, I think and hope he's a better shooter then he showed, the FT % is encouraging.

My biggest worry is the lack of speed/burst.

And that defensive fit wit Herro...man..

Adam Simon says he tried to get him in for a workout but was denied by Kasparas Jakucionis agent because they didn't believe he would be available at the 20th pick.

A backcourt of Kaspar and Rozier will have Rex in heaven.

You can call them the Two Ghosts. One because of his name and the other because of his box score.

Underrated post

well in regards to Rozier and being in heaven, he did often made me Suicidal this year.

Hoping Kasper is more of a friendly ghost. And that he never gets to meet Rozier.

Maxime Raynaud and Rasheer Fleming are available if I was the Heat I would lean into more of this draft and try to acquire one of those he two

I wonder if their is a language barrier with Kasparas Jakučionis that could slow down his development

The Heat have a very large young group behind Herro and Bam with Jakučionis, Jovic, Ware, Jaquez Jr, Larsson, and Johnson. Spo needs to commit to these young players
