Talk about BS spin. Didnt they say the same thing about Jovic and 3 years in he still can’t get consistent playing time and now is up to get paid

No mocks had Jovic as a lottery pick that I remember. Some scouting nerds may have liked his talents and loved him as a high ceiling project but he wasn't projected to be a top pick. Kasparas was a consensus lottery pick

This is too big of a commitment for Jonathan Kuminga. He's just a random semi-scorer.

The market is the market

I hate this mindset. You don't pay a player the market rate. Not if you're smart. If Kuminga is going to cost you $25 mil per, you move on. 15 ppg aren't that hard to come by.

Bills is terrified of us lmao but mfer you didn’t cut our heads off, Jimmy just got injured. We owned the Celtics for the duration of the Jimmy era when we were healthy

Sounds like a Jalen Green type player to me. That's too much money to pay to find out what someone can do. He's done absolutely nothing in GS that has impressed me.

He got put in the dog house for being a black hole and ignoring a wide open curry several times lol, he doesn’t play the right way

I get it but he’s only 22 years old. The idea is that he’s still growing as a player.

If I have to choose, I'd rather hold on to Wiggins for the remainder of his contract (2 years at ~ $29 mil) than get into a 4 year commitment to Kuminga at $25 mil per.

Andy Ellisburg appears to be sitting on an expensive wheelchair. Hope he’s alright.

Kuminga is really good at one thing only, driving to the basket and finishing.

He is probably one of the best in the league which isnt saying much because everyone is just taking long range jump shots now and missing/passing on point blank layups..

If you want kuminga to take open shots or hit mid/long range shots… then youre cooked.. hell hes an unreliable free throw shooter too..

All you are getting out of him are dunks and layup and he loves contact, he absorbs it well.

Simons for Duncan? I’d rather that than Kuminga tbh

I would avoid Kuminga. With Klay, Wiggins, Otto Porter, and Jordan Poole gone, why hasn't he been able to seize the moment and carve out a bigger role????

If he was all that, GSW wouldn't have needed to bring in Jimmy to help Steph.

Okay, had some time to look into this pick and, honestly, what's not to love?! He's a 6'5" point guard with amazing passing skills who can shoot and fell out of the lottery and into our laps.

And I get the vision. We can start any of Dru Smith, Davyion Mitchell, Pelle Larsson, or KJ next to Herro and we're going to have point of attack defense, hustle play, and clutch players. Our backcourt looks young and deep.

Our frontcourt with Bam, Ware, Jovic, and Anderson is nice. We need another center, though.

It's just about adding that 1A. Trade Wiggins, Jaime, and expiring flotsam, along with every first we can gather to get as that guy
