After getting 2 bigs yesterday, chances of selecting Maxime or Ryan are very slim, practically non-existent. Even Fleming looks unlikely. I think they'll go with a wing or PG.

Also, I think Suns still have 1-2 moves to make this offseason. Right now the roster looks messy. Would be nice if we could land PJ Washington. I think he's the odd man out in Dallas.

Good idea. Mavs need someone like Grayson, but they will want picks attached. Maybe we can throw 2nd rounders.

The Williams trade is just awful. If the Lakers could get out of their trade for Williams we need to do the same thing while getting back our 29 this year and 2029 first rounder.

I like the pick for Maluach but this trade for Williams is just god awful. Why the fook didn't we wait until our pick came up prior to making this choice of Williams. I wonder who was trigger happy in the war room. Or was that the incapable new GM/Owner that made this choice. The only reason to trade that pick or our future 2029 pick would be to get rid of Beal. Even then I would question it. I like the pick that Charlotte made. I hope we can void this trade and get the kid they drafted.

Nick Richards for 2025-26: non-guaranteed, fully guaranteed on 6/29/25.

We have 3 days to decide about Richards contract.

We’re better than the Rockets after getting Mark Williams. Let’s see what we do with Beal. Right now I only see the Thunder as being better. If we can get something good for Beal, trade Oso, Richards, Allen, O’neale for some good stuff we can have a chance to be the West favorites.

Lakers didn't get out of their trade, they really wanted him, and were upset that it didnt go through.

We have needed a C for the past 2 seasons and we finally get a defensive minded big that is the best center of the draft

And what do these old OG suns fans do on here , cry! This is getting pathetic to be honest with you.

Saber…. Looks like SF101 making a run at your undeserved optimism title. That’s a strong move he just pulled.

He would now be my #2 on my big board for the 2nd round behind Maxime Raynaud, simply out of need positionally at the 4.

I have Maxime Raynaud at 1 bg because of his extreme skillset versatility and shooting compliment he'd bring alongside of Maluach and Williams. Overall the Suns hig board now (depending upon trade ranges) needs to become:

1- Maxime Raynaud.
2- Rasheer Fleming.
3- Adou Thiero. ( ** Then a floor spacing PF in trade or free agency).
4- Bogoljub Markovic.
5- Eric Dixon.

Late 2nd to undraftedrange options

1- Steven Settle.
2- David N'Guessan.
3- Igor Milicic.
4- Jackson Moni.
5- Milan Momcilovic.

Dude you got to be kidding me. With all the stuff you post and analyst time you take, you pick another C as your #1 for what we just drafted and traded, + have on our team.

The only legitimate board should be

1- Fleming (Fill in our PF depth)
2- Caleb Love (get that ready now back up PG from AZ)

If healthy … heckuva trade. Just the health concerns

But he does make the team better when on court so from that aspect… it’s good

Yall were loving KJ and Miami:

20. Miami Heat: Kasparas Jakučionis, G, Illinois
Grade: D+
The Heat were probably hoping for Walter Clayton Jr. with this pick. For every beautiful assist Jakučionis had as a freshman, there's an equally ugly bone-headed turnover. He had 11 games this past season with more turnovers than made shots. As a primary creator, he's not a Tyrese Haliburton type. Think more along the lines of Spencer Dinwiddie; he's one of your guys on the roster, but he's not THE guy.

So we trade 2 picks to get Williams… who is soon ready for an extension… After we draft this big kid at 10?

Sure seems like we help other teams out with trades more so than ourselves. I don’t necessarily think the price for Williams was way off… it’s the redundancy that is questionable.

Who here would pick a C at 10 knowing you were trading for a starting C with 29?
Clearly our front office strategy is to overwhelm the opposing offices with a ‘WTF are they doing?’ strategy.

Maluach will get his minutes, and earn his spot. He is young and still learning. Booker timeline is get Mark Williams at C and if he cant stay healthy then we still have Maluach.

I think we will trade Nick Richards. We still arent done with offseason. Its like you calling a car ugly when they still haven't painted it yet. Give feedback when our roster is officially set in stone.

Right now our roster:

Booker / Gillespie
Green / Beal
Brooks / Allen
Dunn / Oneale
Williams / Richards / Maluach / Oso

The ones we can trade still

Allen, Oneale, Richards, Oso , and hopefully Beal even though thats realistic. We still have 2+ Moves left.

I like this kid Maluach. I believe he could be what Ayton didn`t become for the Suns.
A couple of important questions:
1. Can Gillespie be our PG of the future?
2. Can Book move to SF and Dunn to PF?
3. Can Beal accept 6th man role again and be productive?
4. We need a 3-D young and athletic wing. Can we find it via a trade for Allen and Oneale?

Projected roster:

PG: Gillespie
SG: Green
SF: Book
PF: Dunn
C: Williams

Bench:
PG: ???
SG: Beal
SF: ???
PF: Oso
C: Maluach

Hate to say this but Ayton was the reason we made the finals.

Did you forget Brooks as well. I wouldn't start gillespie.

Why isnt allen, richards, Brooks and oneale on your roster + the 2nd round picks we have.

TBH I think Caleb Love will be better for us than Gillespie. Get him in the 2nd

Are we sure Maluach is here to stay ? Any news on scheduled press ? If so, I assume Richards is gone. We have Oso for 3rd C on depth chart, keeping all of them makes no sense.

If we cant get rid of Beal, at least one of Allen and Oneale will need to be gone to get us under the apron, possibly both.

The KD trade can't happen until after the new league year so the Suns won't officially comment on any players involved yet.

They definitely aren't done trading because they HAVE to get under the second apron to execute the KD trade.

But I doubt Maluach is getting traded, Suns seem high on him.

Richards is very likely on the move.

I do think this year - the team will be better. They need a PG. But Williams and Brooks are players that will complement Booker. Green is to be determined still

But again, my thing is not just a team year by year. Now Williams is young enough to be extended to fit with Booker
