Maybe I'm splitting hairs here, but I pay attention to detail and I noticed that Ian Begley misspoke.

According to Begley, Nico said Jason Kidd will be the Dallas coach next year; however, Nico didn't say that. His exact words were: "Yes, he will be the coach next year." He never said the coach of Dallas.

Was that simply an error on his part, or was he purposely playing with words??

Kidd is not available.

At best Kidd was using the Knicks for a better contract offer - mission accomplished. The under contract coaches around the league that the Knicks contacted all received new contracts. They should send thank you cards to Rose.

It feels like the Knicks are not really high on any of the available coaches and they are still waiting on Jason Kidd while he's using them for a bigger contract? Maybe they end up with someone they like but right now it looks disfunctional. The Suns, Kings, Grizzlies, Nuggets all had a guy they liked without waiting to see what Kidd is going to do.

This man wrote an article about Fred VanVleet staying in Houston, and the main reason is because they are both linked to Klutch Sports, with Shams being represented by United Talent Agency, which partnered with Rich Paul’s Klutch Sports.
