You don’t think moving money around means attaching the ‘31 1st to get off Dame’s contract or something like that, right?

Guys like Okoro and O'Neale come to mind. I like Okoro more but both are better than Pat. Another guy would be Derrick Jones but that would take an asset. Absorbing Okoro might even get the Bucks a future pick.

I’m resigned that nothing significant is going to happen this offseason, and we’ll be back with a slightly different version of last year’s roster. But I can’t understand how they sold Giannis on staying, without some sort of “ace in the sleeve” move in the works. GA is just too competitive to run everything back and be out in the first round. There has to be something significant, right?

The offseason hasn’t even started yet. I’m not sure we can even make a big move but I’m pretty confident that once signings start we will be very active. We always are.

They sold him by saying "you know that supermax extension in a year is a thing"

You only have to roster 12 official contracts. If we waive Livingston we can simply replace him with a two way which doesn't affect our cap number.

You have to carry 14, and you're not replacing him with a 2 way, we would have the 2 way anyway.

Okay then google lied, but i would argue that if we dont believe in Livingston we should definitely cut him and use the spot on someone else. Why carry dead weight?

What I conclude is that you are weathy. I can't afford to park at a Bucks game, let alone live near there. Congrats.

I’m fine with bringing Bobby back, and like his game. Not a ton of bigs who can shoot and rebound. But I also hope we acquire a big or two that can pass and defend… as much as I like Bobby I hope he’s not our second best big.

No, definitely not wealthy lol. There are somewhat wealthy people in the building but they live on much higher floors in much larger units. My wife and both just work a lot.

Instead of signing Bobby for more money why not try for John Collin who is younger. Pretty much the same player right¿

What does it take to get Reaves here? Lopez S&T, 31 first and AJJ?

I think he's an ideal fit with Giannis and could be Middleton V2. Obviously wont work with Dame but my plans don't include him anyway.

Bobby/Sims
Giannis/Bobby
AJG/GTJ
Reaves/GTJ/AJG
KPJ/Rollins

Kuzma + Pat for a big or a bigger wing

That's a fun team that should be good for 6th+ seed.

In theory, trading Kuzma and a small contract or two to get Collins and then signing and trading Bobby could be good. But trading Kuzma would require attaching assets that we dont probably have unless we sell our 31 1st for multiple guaranteed late 1sts like Phoenix.

Not sure thats the best use of that pick

Cant aggregate salary in a sign and trade so would need to be just brook or just bobby if its a sign and trade

Absolutely zero interest in giving up the last of our assets for the "privilege" of paying Austin Reaves his next contract:

According to ESPN’s Bobby Marks, the Lakers’ extension offer to Reaves this offseason would top out at four years and $89.2 million with a first-year salary of $19.9 million. If Reaves bypasses that to become a free agent in 2026, he’d be eligible for a starting salary up to roughly $42.5 million on a five-year, $246.7 million max deal from the Lakers or a four-year, $182.9 million max deal from any other team.

2 for 2 still works in Bobbys case, just need them to throw in a minimum player they don't want.

Reaves is underrated as hell. He had his playoff successes before last season when he seemingly played hurt. Now he's being evaluated partly on that. Also expanded his game when the Lakers had 1 less balhandler. Can play off ball too. Decent defender. Would maybe Save Our Bucks tm
