OKC/BKN

Post#1 » by MoneyTalks41890 » Thu Jun 26, 2025 5:24 pm

OKC out: Isaiah Joe, Ousmane Dieng, 2026 PHI 1st (top 4 prot, top 4 prot), 2026 HOU 1st (top 4 prot), 2027 DEN 1st (top 5 prot), 2027 SAS 1st (top 16 prot)
OKC in: Cameron Johnson

Thunder consolidate a roster spot and get a veteran sniper at the forward spot who is signed for the next two years before cap issues start to kick in.

BKN out: Cameron Johnson
BKN in: Isaiah Joe, Ousmane Dieng, 2026 PHI 1st (top 4 prot, top 4 prot), 2026 HOU 1st (top 4 prot), 2027 DEN 1st (top 5 prot), 2027 SAS 1st (top 16 prot)

Nets get a grab bag of draft picks to keep taking shots at upside players in a continued sell off.

I agree it's an overpay. I think the Philly pick plus one of the others is enough, unless the thought is that a little extra is needed to take on 3 years of Joe.

4 picks plus a rotation player and a prospect lol. Cam Johnson don’t have that value lol.

Agree with first few.

I wouldn't really include a Philly or LAC first in an offer for Cam Johnson.

And I don’t think OKC can handle another 20 million dollar contract so don’t think it makes sense to pay for this much for one.

But I think 2025 worst of firsts, 2027 Denver is a real offer. Add the Sac first if you need to.

Just because OKC can afford to overpay doesn't mean they should. Knock two of those first round picks off and then it might make sense.

Overpay as other's have said. Keep the picks and Dieng, let's build a deal around Joe for Klay please
