Lakers can take Niang into their exception. If they want Ryan Kalkbrenner, you can have #32 if you take Niang and return #45 and #55

who says no?

I say no because Niang is cheap, productive and reliable.

32nd pick may get the C’s a serviceable big who may turn into something. 45 and 55 are beyond crapshoots.

The Nets could really use Anfernee Simons as their tank commander. They have to reach the minimum salary, so why not him?

With #32, I expect Stevens to draft the tallest player who won't force the Celtics to play drop coverage.

They moved from 55 to 45. No chance he's there. I thought maybe they'd moved to 31, but not the case.

I mean this fist windmill is just silly. Not saying he’ll be the Thompson twins, but he’s a freak athlete. He can’t shoot a lick (like the Thompson’s), but he easily had highest ceiling of these guys left and could be a rotation piece, which is all you’re looking for in 2nd rounders

Sold. Can work with ridiculous athlete.

Kevin O'Connor has Raynaud as his best remaining pick, and had him at #15 total.

His list with top 30 big board rankings:
Raynaud (15th)
Markovic (23rd)
Thiero (27th)
Kalkbrenner (30th)

Penda
Watkins
Fleming
Lanier

...and on from there.

Draft news/picks were dropped on bluesky bsky.app from various local beat reporters from different teams. The national reporter Michael Scotto tipped pretty much every pick last night, if anyone wants to follow tonight. Don't know if Scotto is on twitter as well as bsky

Yeah, he's a below the rim guy.

Guess it's the energy that he exudes.

Does Fleming not give Obi vibes?

Fleming is more Rob Williams to me.

Is pass. Niang is a cheap expiring that might be useful.
32 has the potential to be a really good player.
