I would say the PORT bosses either knew they were ending up with 5 centers or they were asleep before the draft started. Yang isn't going to come close to playing in an NBA game this year. RWIII is going to be injured ad miss 1/2 the season a least. So your problem isn't nearly as big as you imagine.

Yeah. This is what I thought of.

Maybe need a third team though as I’m not sure how happy they’d be to take Nurk back.

DeAndre Ayton - $35,550,814
Robert Williams III - $13,285,713
Duop Reath - $2,221,677

I doubt any will fetch a first round pick so what else do you have to offer?

Portland Roster
PG - Holiday / Scoot
SG - Thybulle / Sharpe / Rupert
SF - Grant / Camara / Murray
PF - Williams III / Avdija
_C - Ayton / Clingan / Reath / Yang

Honestly, any of those starters are available. Ideally, the Blazers could use a backup SG, SF, PF or a 3rd string PG, C.

How about Anfernee Simons for RobWill?

I would take the Vandy money. We already have Grant and Jrue being paid long term. Vandy fits the 'all in' defense identity too.

Vincent + Kleber + Vandy + Dalton for Ayton + Kris.

yes, desperate for one really

Preferably one that was averaging 16/11 when healthy with insane touch around the basket. I'm sure those grow on trees...

The Bulls need a center and they currently hold the Blazers lottery protected pick. What tricky is that Ayton doesn't have hold value by himself and while there's a chance the pick chance never conveys, there's a chance the picks does convey, which wouldn't be worth for the Bulls without something else coming back. The Blazers could take Patrick Williams and Nikola Vucecic to make work a bit better for the Bulls, but they still would have too many centers after this, so Vuececic would have to be rerouted.

Outside of them, there's not a lot of even semi decent options here. Do the Blazers simply Ayton home for the year or simply send Yang to the G-League for the whole year? Do all of them simply get reduced playing time until they figure what trade would work the best?

Just send yang to lakers. Bet they want to do what they did with the japanese fella in baseball but with a bigger market. Obviously cant happen since lakers cant pay but...

Lakers then get Horford or Capela in FA and bring back Jaxson.

PG: Reaves | Exum | Bronny
SG: Luka | Thybulle | Milton
SF: DFS | Rui | #55
PF: LeBron | Vando | LaRavia
C: RW3 | Horford/Capela | Hayes

Horford should be a gentleman and cover the medical bills for all the Celtics fans that gouge their own eyes out upon seeing reports that he signed with the Lakers.

Is Yang coming over this season with the team up for sale?

Ayton is really hard to match though...

What year do the LAL have a 2nd that's #32? Looks like Boston has that pick unless something has changed that I"m not aware of?

Edit: are you talking about a 2032 2nd round pick?

Most likely Yang ends up in the G League for most of next season and becomes the backup center after Both Ayton and TL leave in free agency

If the Blazers are expecting anything of value for either one, no. I think a Kleber for RW3 swap makes sense. Blazers' fans are naturally not going to like it.

Negative percent chances the Lakers send Knecht and expiring for RW3.
