Ok pretty important question, is Dylan Harper's mom going to be there again tonight?

After each pick, instead of the player’s mom, they interview the selected player with Harper’s mom lol

This format is wack. Like, if we weren't picking in the first 20 minutes, there would be no way I watched any of this.

I think 35 and a future 2 gets it done based on the price of trades today.

Hopefully it's an ishy future 2nd. Fleming is a good fit but Thiero and Markovic have more upside. Someone we want should be there at #35.

If Fleming were a guy they had ranked in their top 15 or top 20, then burning a future 2nd to go get him would make sense. However, if he is just one of a few guys they like, it doesn’t make sense.

Looking at the rankings below, it seems like Fleming is the consensus best remaining of the group, but not significantly ahead of Theiro. It does seem like Fleming has a little more size to be the clear fit.

Hollinger has:
Fleming 24
Theiro 25
Bogo 46

Givony:
Fleming 27
Theiro 32
Bogo 39

CBS:
Fleming 24
Theiro 37
Bogo 50

O’Connor:
Bogo 23
Theiro 27
Fleming 35

NBADraft.net
Fleming 18
Bogo 37
Theiro 40

Honestly, you gotta giving Dave Silver a head nod, skip 'em, and hug Mrs. Harper

Any chance Rasheer Fleming is in play or is he going to get scooped before #35?

Rot in Utah Ace.

::EDIT:: Bailey's camp told Hornets or Sixers or both that if they took Ace he would not report.

Bailey's camp going rogue wouldn't surprise me in the least. Reminds me of the mess around Fultz.

Fears also told CHA he wasn't interested. There could be reasons they went Kon other than just player rankings.

Would be stunned if he was still there at 35. But not impossible.

Well it does help when the players you're drafting actually wants to play for you. Thing is, these guys are getting paid millions of dollars. Where you're initially playing shouldn't really be up to you. It's a fair trade-off if you ask me. I think it sucks when players like Bailey pull this $hit.

If Daryl thought Ace was a better prospect than VJ he would have drafted him. Clearly Ace is not the type of player he looks for with how he plays and that has been so obvious throughout this process.

Daryl Morey is a liar, but he said yesterday that Ace's workout cancellation had no impact on the decision to draft VJ.
