I still think the Celtics will come away with two players tonight. Lot of decent players still left out there.

I would do it because it saves us 10 million dollars for a player. We do not need and it will definitely be a talented player left over at 37.

Let’s do it. Call it in

I'm down. Hauser seems the odd man out and a contract has to go. I honestly prefer Niang at this point. Not as pure shooter but more of a pest.

One of the previously salivated-over guys at #32, and Brad gets his pick Javon Small at #37?

Thiero please. If not, Raynaud or Kam Jones will do

My question is: Would Hugo have been there at 32? And if so, would Brad have taken one of the bigs we've been clamoring for at 28. Makes one wonder if he has another curve ball planned.

At least my Raynaud dreams are well alive they can't possibly take another big. I think the Suns go Fleming.

Since Suns are taking Rasheer Fleming at 31, we control the draft ... I would love to see the trade offers Brad is getting right now

Not sure how that works.

But will Brad go for The Kulk?

Is this an agent draft for the Suns with Maluach/Fleming?

I’d have to re-listen to the press conference but my impression at the time was they had him quite a bit higher.

Partly due to referencing all his prior year performances when he also happened to be ranked much higher - the interesting note there is I think writers and fans tend to think of Hugo’s last year as a negative.

Ie, not playing much, not putting up stats etc. Whereas Brad sees a guy that is a big time team first player and that is for him a big plus that he can handle the environment if that makes sense.

Okay guys, it’s the 2nd round soon, no matter what Brad does I want y’all to stay on topic. Please no name calling. Whether he picks who you like or not, whether he makes a trade you love or hate, and even if you are right about everything and want to tell a doubter, remember we’re all here in support of the Celtics! The great majority is looking for the best outcome!

Fresh from watching highlights for Kalkbrenner, Reynaud, and Broome. If Brad decides to go for a big from that group, I hope he chooses Kalkbrenner. Broome would be my second choice. But what if he doesn't go for a big? It would be a surprise, but that's part of the draft experience, eh?

Or that we have the power to turn anything controversial, no matter what. :)
