Ryan Kalkbrenner (Creighton)
Jamir Watkins (Florida State)
Koby Brea (Kentucky) - he could end up like a Jamison Battle (Toronto), Duncan Robinson, Isaiah Joe or Riley Minix (San Antonio), who turns his elite shooting skill into an NBA career.
Amarri Williams (Kentucky)

Not really sure about anyone else. Maybe Adou Thierro could make the league. Amazing how many guys went back to school and were afraid to pass up the guarantee NIL money. Either making an NBA team is harder than ever (even with the 3 two-way contracts) or NBA teams were telling agents that they didn't have much roster space and second rounders after say 40 are just not useful.

Brea is a good call. I agree with your comps for him. He's streaky as hell but a flame thrower and carried that offense at points last season. He's also a movement three point shooter which is crucial.

What about Fleming?

Unless you are assured a guaranteed contract from an organization as a second-round pick, it makes perfect sense to return to school provided you have a large NIL deal. You get good money and have the chance to elevate your stock to a guaranteed first-round contract next year. This is likely going to be a recurring trend with NIL money in high-level college basketball.

I watched Fleming one time versus George Mason. I didn't see much. Have no opinion on his game.

Just a question to the nba historians here...

Is this a record for most trades/interchanges in draft positioj history? I cant even keep track of all the deals. PHO just sold so many 2nd rounders... LA bought CHI 45? Etc etc

No but you should see Boston's from I believe 2023.

#25 for #31 and 2 future 2nds
#31 for #34 and #39
#34 for #38 and Future 2nd
#39 for Future 2nd

Net was the following:

#25 for #38, 4 future 2nds

Suns traded with the Timberwolves for #31. Looks like they are going to take Fleming.

i don't think a 2nd round pick is gonna make for a suitable replacement for Garland

Adou Thiero
Amari William
Kam Jones
Ryan Kalkbrenner
Tyrese Proctor
Sion James
Johni Broome
Javon Small
Alijah Martin
Chaz Lanier

Are all guy who I had mocked as near first rounders. Rasheer Fleming is also still available.

I think for purely fit wise Ryan Kalkbrenner & Amari Williams would be ideal, I think both guys can come in and play back up 5 right away. I also think Thiero if he gets a jumpshot could become Herb Jones 2.0, and I like the 3+D ability of Tyrese Proctor and Sion James. I think Kam Jones is the most naturally talented guy left with the ball in his hands, if he came out last year hes a near lottery pick, but he really struggled shooting the ball this year, but I'm a believer.

My top 10 for #39 in order
Thiero
Kalkbrenner
Williams
Tyrese Proctor
Sion James
Kam Jones
Johni Broome
Alijah Martin
Chaz Lanier
Javon Small

WHAT IS THIS SET UP?

6 tables and a few folding chairs!? If my funeral was this sparsely attended I’d be disappointed, let alone a multi billion dollar organisation.
