Mark is a damn good player.

I think they are going to regret trading their 2029 first. Booker/Green could be tank city.

Isn’t the ‘29 pick the least favorable of Min, Cle, and Uta?

I looked up a couple of articles but can’t tell. That wouldn’t be as bad.

Still just seems like they are doing the Bucks past strategy under Kohl of serving two masters to get better in the short term and the long term. We know that is a horrible approach.

Yes, it is the pick that has 3 swaps on it. Phoenix needs talent and has few ways to get it so flipping a late 1st and a heavily swapped 2029 pick for a bet that Williams stays healthy is an ok gamble. Very unlikely to get a better player with either of those picks.

Maluach is a project, I don't think it's a bad idea to bring him along slowly.

Phoenix basically rolled the dice on Durant, crapped out and now have no picks until the 30s so no reason to be try and be outright bad. Not a good spot, but not really the khol era approach.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Spurs have a lot of guards that need the ball in their hands

They should probably flip Fox and give Harper some runway.

Hear me out, flip Castle while his value is sky high. If he can’t become a better shooter, his potential is severely limited.

Dumars trading their unprotected 1st rd swap with us next year to move up 10 spots (to #13 not even top 10) is absolutely braindead stupid.

Dumars was really bad in Detroit after Hammond left. So much so I can’t really credit him for the title teams. I can’t fathom how I can remember that and an NBA team owning mega millionaire can’t.

Problem is Rich Paul “blackmailed” the Kings to get Fox to San Antonio (per former assistant GM Peja) so there are Klutch considerations at a baseline.

I cant help but think that Zion is on the move for a lesser, yet way more consistently healthy talent (plus maybe some picks). You only trade that pick unprotected if you feel like you have a solid roster and anything with Zion is unstable

On the other hand, Joe Dumars.

They're only a year removed from winning 49 games, but yeah, it feels like an asinine gamble. There are so many avenues to that pick winding up higher than the pick they acquired last night. And obviously who knows what they'll even get out of Murray this year (not to mention the annual question of what they'll get out of Zion).

Yeah, im just not judging how big of a gamble it is until i see their final roster. But if Zion remains by far the most important player on their team after all the moves are made.....yeah, its bad.

Wonder who Giannis would rather have as GM
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"
