Sounds like PHX traded up to 31 to nab Fleming.

We will see how this plays out, but it feels like trading down is a sign that we don’t like the options at 41 for a real roster spot, so moving back is probably going to lock in two of our 2-way contracts…. think Nembhard, Peavy, RJ, etc. Add in Armstrong and our 2ways our set unless one of our picks is a stash.

Based on their haul, it would have taken 41 and both of our future 2nd rounder at least….

Would I do that for Fleming? Probably. But thats a good return for the Wolves that we may not have been able to match regardless.

I get that there is probably no pick at 41 that's going to help this season. But why go with two even worse pick slots? I guess one or both might be draft and stash picks. I wonder if they tried to trade out of the draft completely into a future draft.

Because Kerr loves G-Leaguers and that's as close as you can get in the draft?

MDJ must have found his Mark Purdy to trade down to Mr. IRRELEVANT spot.

Picks #52 and #59 for pick #41 is a poop on a stick return. Jester's gonna like it for just that reason.

Don’t understand this trade at all. Either they like nobody at 41 or there’s a backstory here that we don’t know. Finding anyone beyond 50 in the draft is a total crapshoot.

But my guy Martin is out

I wonder if mdj has a promise from the player/agent at 41 or 52, and knows he'll drop.

Bunch of Wings going off the board now.

Can Dubs still get Stanford center for size and smart?

Possible but still risk a team taking them even if you say you don’t want to go there.

Guess we should look up who is brother is repping.
