Flip Knecht to Charlotte for 32 and our 1st rounder back.

Draft Kalkbeater and enter the season with no positional holes.

Gonna need Knecht as their future primary off-ball shooter, particularly after they move both Herro and Duncan sometime within the next 12 months.

This.

I will give Bam a little bit of a break because he is on a team that consistently has one of the most garbage offenses season after season. I don't think he has any inclination to be an offensive monster, so I don't know how much being in another system would change our opinion of Adebayo. He has developed a mid-range game and and now a 3-point shot. So he has clearly worked to become an offensive threat.

I just don't know how much of his lack of aggressiveness on offense is him and how much is him playing within the constraints of a bad offensive system for his output.

If Bam has the luxury of playing next to the playmakers a lot of the other guys did he’d be viewed completely different by this fanbase. The outside world rates him pretty highly regardless of that though. Fans of the Lakers, spurs, Knicks, Celtics, etc. are all hope trafficking Bam trades after missing out on KD, I’m hoping they get their wish

And who do you think Herro has the luxury of playing next to? He has to play with the same mediocre teammates, too.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

I am willing to trade Wiggins straight up for the rights to draft Bogoljub Marković

If we feel the way we do about Jovic then why not? They are the same player

Who knows. Kalk better at rim protection for sure.

Kalks advanced metrics jump off the page though:

I’m in for the Kum Bucket go watch him if you haven’t

Golden State does stuff weird the Kum Bucket is NICE he can play, and would probably be the alpha on this squad. He’s 22 years old BTW. Honestly reminds me of Jimmy just needs the platform

Are you speaking playmaking wise or overall talent wise? Playmaking wise sure Tyler would benefit some as well and should get some better quality looks but there’s a massive difference in the level of importance of high level playmaking for bigs as opposed to high volume guards. As a high volume guard it doesn’t get much better than playing next to bigs like Bam, Jokic, Sabonis, and Draymond so in that regard Herros fortunate and Bam helps others far more than anyone on the roster helps him.

Overall talent wise, as a Herro stan you probably shouldn’t want him to play with much more talent or a true 1st option because his numbers will drop and I know basic statistics like PPG is how a lot of you draw conclusions on players so that could hurt your image of him. There’s a chance his numbers could drop next to a good playmaker too but it wouldn’t be as extreme and may just offset if he actually is getting higher quality looks.

If Kuminga comes in here and is prioritized over Bam or Herro everyone needs to be fired. The sad reality is that he definitely will be prioritized over Bam, Spo loves his new shiny toys like Terry and Wiggins, Kuminga will be another.

Have you really watched him play? Bam is an accessory player on offense he isn’t taking a game over. Kuminga wants the smoke. If he’s worthy of it or not that’s for the moments to decide. What I do like is he’s a guy who frustrated he’s not getting them while playing with a top 10 player of all time in Curry

The Warriors have been in ring contention probably for what feels like your entire life, it’s not a fantastic place for a young guy to develop. Kuminga is 2 years younger than JJJ BTW

The thing they have in common is dependency on usage for their game to matter because they are not outside shooters. Both need the ball and a volume of opportunities to be successful. Kuminga would probably be the guy who handles the ball down the stretch unless Herro can develop his game to deal with that type of ball pressure.

I have, he’s super athletic and there’s some upside with him being young but he’s a mediocre shooter, can’t dribble, can’t pass and refuses to pass (he’s a black hole) and he plays no defense.

Not Fleming?

Ive been reading that hes a slow processor. Thats y he fell.

I can only handle so many of those dudes.

Id also like to have another big man to help rim protect, which Kalk is decent at.

Yeah… guys with good heads on their shoulders is preferred. Good find.
