I think the Knicks bench for all intents and purposes sucks.

I think getting cheap role players with 2nd round picks is a smart play. So much so that I would try and trade up into the 40s or even the 30s and look at these players:

Adou Thiero
Rasheer Fleming
Jamir Watkins
Koby Brea

I agree with you. The tricky part is finding a team with an early to mid 2nd rounder that doesn't want one of those guys and wants what the Knicks have to offer (mostly late future 2nds and cash).

It's easy to win a trade when you have something the other team wants like the trades they did last year with the #24 and later the #26 pick Kyshawn George & Dillon Jones)

I don't know what they have to offer this year that will interest other teams. But I'm open to being wrong.
