when has that ever happened?

trading a future first to get into 2nd round, or to move up

Yup. I don’t understand this. Even if a Penda or a Fleming has a 25% chance of being a rotational player, the more swings you take on guys like that, the more likely you are to hit.

I would guess way less than 25% of 2nd round picks become rotation players.

Youre right we should trade them all away for cash why even try.

Imagine being the GM that sells a pick for cash, the pick before Jokic gets selected

Oh no! We'll be stuck with Adou Thiero!

I was thinking about this too....probably can't approve the trade until after July 1?

Even if it gets pushed after the moratorium it hard caps us at the 2nd apron for next season.
And the player can't have contact with the team until it can be finalized.

But we are probably trading all the way out anyway. Don't sweat it fellas.

This is like a slow motion trainwreck with Allstate commercials.

Did Reynaud run over Adam Silver's dog or something?

Roster is full already. No need to get more players specially if the target is to keep NAz, Randle.

I get it. We need to get Clark, Rob, TSJ, and Beringer into mix. I can see kicking it down the road and picking up some cheddar after going into luxury along the way. This doesn’t feel to me like Glen saying get cash so I can cover Rambis firing.

Being hard capped is bad enough. But to do so for cash is beyond a slap in the face, it is kick in the nuts.

I feel like we’re only going to take someone that would agree to a two-way contract. I’m a complete homer, but how shocking would it be to take Dawson Garcia with one of the last picks in this round after a couple more trade downs?
