I don't understand why they don't just give us Windhorst, Givonny and Bilas for round 1. I get the appeal of an SAS or Perkins for the daytime casuals, but are they really tuning into the draft? Who are they targeting with those clowns?

orlando did decent with a defensive identity. they had just enough scoring to get them to 40+ wins in consecutive years. 47 wins 2 years ago, only 41 last year due to alot of injuries.

there's no reason we can't do the same if we emphasize defense. they made their godfather trade for bane to take the next step. we have yet to do that.

let's get to that 40+ win first then make that godfather trade.

But what's his downside? Why was he a second rounder?

6'2" SG/SF. His downside is he's 4-6 inches shorter than just about everyone he'll be matched up against. That, and he's a senior who will be 24 in December, so he can go stale pretty quickly if he doesn't develop fast.

He’s taller than Davion Mitchell

Why can’t he guard PGs?

And who will guard the shooting guards? He is not a PG in any way shape or form.
I've got a belt on that's holding up my pants and my pants have belt loops that hold up my belt. I don't know what's really happening down there. Who is the real hero? - Mitch Hedberg

I keep thinking back to the season and how we would pressure full court when Davion then Shead were pushing for playing time.

Having guys like that is huge...hell we just saw Indy/OKC doing it in the playoffs too.

We are adding a more experienced C

His body type/broad shoulders remind me of Eric Bledsoe.

Let's be clear - this has been the Raptors method under Masai that other teams have now adopted

It's the 39th pick, you can't really get worked up over it. Basically a lottery ticket and if nothing else it's better than the guy we traded to get this pick in Jalen McDaniels.

I forgot this was the pick we got in the McDaniels trade.

And we still got that Lakers 2nd to look forward to.

There's a chance all 3 players become better than McDaniels. Hilarious marginal trade move if it ends up happening.

Shams is so full of crap. Giannis is not monitoring the late 2nd round
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

JaKobe, Ochai can guard SGs, he can guard PGs and either Scottie or CMB can do the facilitating.

Hes buit very similiarly to Avery Bradley, and honestly if everything goes right you might be right but I doubt it considering he's already 24. I do think he is ready to contribute and he can end up being something similar to Dort/Melton.

This.

A PG doesn't need to do the facilitating one our squad, considering we got a jumbo PG in Scottie, who can run the offense, because he has a point guards mindset.
