It would be funny if they drafted Hunter Sallis. I posted in the first draft thread back in July 24’ what older senior who can shoot may have Stevens eye, but I figured as a 1st rounder. Now he may go close to last in the 2nd.

This draft has been like a chore, frankly.

I'm in for the younger, shorter Nembhard. Let's get those genes in green.

He's bigger than Rob
Rob has better touch as a shooter
Amari Williams has some of the worst body control Ive ever seen, sometimes jerks his knees up towards his stomach when he jumps
but the possibility of a Rob-like player is 100% in there somewhere
also Rob has that Louisiana laid back drawl and Amari is the more rare black dude with an English accent, lol

Students complained. Heinz ignored their pleas. Pranksters modified the sign, in that they increased the number by 12.

And you know this because you were one of the students??

I had a girlfriend who went to MIT In the 60s and told me lots of prank stories from that era.

There's some broad similarities.

But rob is MUCH more athletic, explosive, much better lob threat, much better shot blocker. Was about 3.5 years younger when drafted.

Amari meanwhile is older, less injury risk, much better ball handler and driver..

So some similarities but also a few differences too.

To me, he looks like if Trevion Williams wasn’t fat

WE DID IT SHAK!!

Wow…. hurt…

No joke, I thought of this yesterday, i decided I’m giving up on him. This is also doesn’t bode well for Amari because I liked him immediately when I saw that passing!

Give it at least one more season with Trevion

He hasn’t sung yet!
And I know you know this pick is one to celebrate because passing bigs are SWEET!

A Villanova alum was the #1 overall pick in the Papal Conclave. Let other schools have their chances!

I think he’s more solid and ground bound correct?

Makes sense, hence why he went so much higher.

Just trying to gauge what he looks like in the system, because obviously he isn’t going to play a Horford/Porzingis floor spacing role.

He's good. But to be fair, Im sure lots of others would have gotten those stats if they stayed in school till they were 23. But with bigs, most of the good ones are in the NBA by age 20..

Which dorms? I was in East Campus, betting one on other side of Mass Ave

Don't know. I always assumed it was from a direction where actual food manufacturing occurred, but I don't really know that to be the case. Indeed, it would actually make more sense for the sign to be located in line with automobile traffic.
